Should a Dash-PIVX merger be explored?

DASH has plenty of stated objectives to accomplish. This would only muddy the waters. emphatic NO

Dash Core Group announces first v19 chain halt

nothing's perfect, and maybe there is blame to be had, but I was encouraged with the response to the catastrophe. The problem was identified and corrected and the chain resumed. I'm not taking this for granted.

Registering (encrypted?) xpub keys for masternode/miner payouts to improve "hygiene"/Coinjoin

what about "protx update_registrar" with a new payout address that fires after each MN payout to the prior address? When done properly, each MN payout is made to a different pubkey...

    Glenn Austin Moving On

my 30,000 ft view is with hope that humans can plug in/plug out of DCG and that DASH is resilient enough to withstand these costs...a tall order...however, with professionalism (as demonstrated by Glenn Austin) it is not impossible.

    Dash will become more editable

I am never sure the purpose of posts like williamsmth's. It's possibly just, "ha! made you look!" But somewhere between the dawn of the commercial Internet and now, we crossed a line where cyberspace and information became larger than humanity's ability to comprehend. That sounds trivial, but...

    dash.org Forums

@Macrochip there's a lot of truth in what you write. The optimist in me says we don't know the highs or the lows until they're in the rear view mirror. Everyone makes mistakes, but if the aim is true, there will be reward. When we admit that we were wrong, it can allow us to learn and change...

    dash.org Forums

you know, something I like about the fact that dash.org/forum is lightly traveled, is that it acts as a "filter" of sorts. other platforms may have higher engagement, but I'm getting at "signal to noise" here.

My advice to the dashcore team

there's a theory going around that the Chinese use social media in divisive fashion. The baloney in this thread (not you @stan.distortion ;)) leads me to lean toward the theory's validity.

Getting The Message Right - Dash Offers Privacy - Not Anonymity

Respectfully, I don't like trying to serve both masters. Lindsey Graham's "EARN IT" Act...is that what we have here? A back door is a back door, if DASH is traceable for some it is traceable for all and if that's the case? Out with it.

New Dash video series: Why Dash should definitely NOT be promoted as a cloud

CLOUD CLOUD CLOUD, I didn't like the term when it started appearing ~15years ago to dumb down client/server concepts for the masses. But it stuck, and I have accepted it. But now I wonder, does order matter? Is CLOUD/BLOCKCHAIN a combination or a permutation? Answer: permutation...and...

    Dash Core Group Q2 2019 Summary Call - Thursday, 8 August 2019

I have been curious about chainlocks as it relates to network capacity? Is there any gain whatsoever? I had been thinking that if funds were chainlocked and also immediately respendable (under 4 inputs I understand) that effectively a queue is created and that in a time of full blocks...

Hey @tungfa, I know we're trying to stay positive, but on the outside chance the forum would like to give an award for "dumbest thread", I would like to nominate this one.

4 Days left in the big push to get Dash on NPR. It takes 6-10 minutes. Costs nothing.

There is no such thing as bad publicity. I have made an effort along these lines, as you suggested and I appreciate your appeals to the community.

Is DASH a "Security" as defined by SEC?

On the other hand, a security may just be their euphemism for anything they want to screw with/impede. I had read an article elsewhere recently in which an attorney named Jake Chervinsky described the SEC's strategy in this matter as "guidance by enforcement". Essentially, the SEC smashes...

    999 DASH STOLEN

@fedpyramid: this is probably small consolation, but you're not alone. I have made a couple of missteps myself and lost some nice chunks of crypto. I have tried to think about it in terms of my OVERALL BENEFIT from getting into crypto as opposed to these unfortunate incidents. Additionally...
