nothing's perfect, and maybe there is blame to be had, but I was encouraged with the response to the catastrophe. The problem was identified and corrected and the chain resumed. I'm not taking this for granted.
what about
"protx update_registrar"
with a new payout address that fires after each MN payout to the prior address? When done properly, each MN payout is made to a different pubkey...
my 30,000 ft view is with hope that humans can plug in/plug out of DCG and that DASH is resilient enough to withstand these costs...a tall order...however, with professionalism (as demonstrated by Glenn Austin) it is not impossible.
I am never sure the purpose of posts like williamsmth's. It's possibly just, "ha! made you look!"
But somewhere between the dawn of the commercial Internet and now, we crossed a line where cyberspace and information became larger than humanity's ability to comprehend.
That sounds trivial, but...
@Macrochip there's a lot of truth in what you write.
The optimist in me says we don't know the highs or the lows until they're in the rear view mirror. Everyone makes mistakes, but if the aim is true, there will be reward. When we admit that we were wrong, it can allow us to learn and change...
you know, something I like about the fact that dash.org/forum is lightly traveled, is that it acts as a "filter" of sorts.
other platforms may have higher engagement, but I'm getting at "signal to noise" here.

But now I wonder, does order matter? Is CLOUD/BLOCKCHAIN a combination or a permutation?

I have been curious about chainlocks as it relates to network capacity? Is there any gain whatsoever?
I had been thinking that if funds were chainlocked and also immediately respendable (under 4 inputs I understand) that effectively a queue is created and that in a time of full blocks...
Hey @tungfa, I know we're trying to stay positive, but on the outside chance the forum would like to give an award for "dumbest thread", I would like to nominate this one.
On the other hand, a security may just be their euphemism for anything they want to screw with/impede.
I had read an article elsewhere recently in which an attorney named Jake Chervinsky described the SEC's strategy in this matter as "guidance by enforcement". Essentially, the SEC smashes...
@fedpyramid: this is probably small consolation, but you're not alone. I have made a couple of missteps myself and lost some nice chunks of crypto. I have tried to think about it in terms of my OVERALL BENEFIT from getting into crypto as opposed to these unfortunate incidents. Additionally...
