Status update:
TDG/The Dash Guy decided to leave the team. I will respect his decision. Buster has decided to join in his place. I think he will make a great addition to the team.
The plan is to be actively involved and have a presence on neutral grounds so to speak, on various relevant subreddits, twitter and article sections, whenever appropriate. The idea is to do both, engage current community members and get them to be more actively involved and also reach out...
The group will be the whole community. A big chunk of the budget will go towards motivating community members to engage on social media. The permanent team members will act as coordinators. To give you an example, team members will point out to articles where Dash is mentioned or left out for no...
It would be counterproductive to what we want to achieve to act that way.
When it comes to metrics, I believe the increased social media activity will be quite obvious but we'll do our best to post detailed reports and make it as transparent as possible.
@tungfa
All the people included in this team are and have been hardcore Dash supporters. Your last edit is a direct jab at one of the team members. That member has his faults and made his share of mistakes, just like the rest of us. I believe what he brings to the table more than compensates...
Problem
Dash doesn’t have a strong enough visible presence on social media when it comes to active social media engagement and that can be a problem at times. If you take a look at the comments posted in response to Brian Armstrong, the Coinbase CEO’s recent reddit post, that suggests Coinbase...
Yes, it seems I was wrong. I did a search on it few days ago and found out people complaining about bugs like this one here where embedded videos caused issues with the view count. Guess that was the misleading part.
https://siteorigin.com/thread/embedded-youtube-videos-not-registering-counts/
Many of these video were watched as embedded videos on reddit, twitter and other places and embedded video views don't count as youtube views. The number of views is actually way higher.
Some examples of embedded videos (these are just Trace Mayer embedded videos)...
He still has same posting style, which is easy to recognize. Paranoia's still there as well. :) He also disabled his Twitter account few months ago so this isn't big news. He told me his twitter account many weeks back when discussing some RasPi related topic with him via PM.
The highlight of this announcement seems to be CryptoCapital.co. I like the fact they are Panama based. This means they won't bend over to OECD and pass on account information. This means all the accounts will be kept private indeed and not shared with 3rd parties.
However, not so much for US...
Yes, technically that's correct. This is how I've phrased my question in an earlier post. From what has been stated the conversion is done manually which sucks. The card also has high fees and more importantly we don't know if this guy is who he says he is.
I see you have ignored my previous post. Is the debit card a Dash or a fiat debit card? It seems to be a fiat debit card. How do we know you are who you say you are?
Have you tried Amazon Global? Sager ships to Europe as well.
You will have to pay a custom fee regardless of where you get it, even if it's a gift from a friend. If you buy a laptop for $1k you will have to pay EU VAT on top of that, so add a 21% Spanish VAT on top of 1k and you end up paying...
Will one be able to hold the funds in Dash on this debit card and have the conversion be made automatically when using the debit card? Some debit card providers such gold based debit cards, that hold gold on the debit card, allow for instant conversion to fiat when you want to spend it.
The way...

Bitpay created adaptive/dynamic blockchain code. Dash just needs to implement it. This is one of beauties of using Bitcoin code, a big advantage Dash has over Monero. https://dashtalk.org/threads/why-not-implement-bitpays-adaptive-block-size-fork-instead-of-the-2mb-classic.8017/
