    Linux QT Wallet Unresponsive

I've thought about it some more. 281 total txt's can't be the total number of transactions in the wallet if I had inputs of 930. That by itself should be 930+281 tx's. I used the darkcoind listunspent command to dump all the current transactions to a text file then filtered them with grep...

    Linux QT Wallet Unresponsive

Ok, so I've been trying to see why the wallet file grew so large. Darkcoind works fine btw just not QT. Doing darkcoind listunspent, dumping it to a text file and greping "txid" I've returned a total count of 281 transactions. So for some reason, with only 281 transactions, about 10 imported...

    Linux QT Wallet Unresponsive

Update After consolidating all the dust the QT wallet is still unresponsive and inoperable. Could this possibly be due to the wallet.dat size itself? ~/.darkcoin $ ls -lh wallet.dat -rw------- 1 propulsion propulsion 28M Oct 8 18:31 wallet.dat

    Linux QT Wallet Unresponsive

Alright, I consolidated 930 inputs into a grand total of three. Funny thing is my wallet actually grew from 21 Mb's to 28Mb's. I'm going to let the transactions confirm and then see if the issue resolves. Here are the TX's if any of you are interested. { "account" : "p2pool"...

This seriously could be it. :) Check out this address; it was from the old p2pool. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?Xn71EFztHqAeCnGZvkipWh6rsV2q3YKFUT.htm I'll consolidate all those inputs into one input and report back.

    Linux QT Wallet Unresponsive

I have the latest version of the daemon installed. 10.*.*. For some reason, the QT wallet is completely unresponsive and max's out the CPU on my computer. The 9.*.* version never gave me an issue before. I've tried building from source and also flare's precompiled version. The regular daemon...

Please Update To v10.14.1 - Masternode Security Update

QT wallet is pegging the CPU to 100% for me. I have to wait five minutes minimum just to attempt to use it. propulsion@S7 ~/.darkcoin $ (darkcoin-qt:9340): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_get_direction: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed I'm seeing the above error while it hangs...

Enforcement of masternode payments is active!

Excellent! Also The DarkcoinTalk Pool is fully supporting the enforcement.

    X11 Mining Optimisation Project

Well, according to Wolf from BCT, it can be improved upon by 400%. I don't know how feasible that actually is though. At this point in time, I'd like to see some development towards FPGA's to be honest with you.

Why open-sourcing may be a really bad idea…

Multisignature addresses come from the Bitcoin client itself. Any coin forked from it should already have it.

it would be really cool if we have a debate among Duffiled, Metcalf (XC), Monero dev, Atlas

That's a cool idea. Last I heard Kristov will be auditing the XC code the same way as he did for Darkcoin.

    Development Update - Oct 1, 2014

Based on my cost analyzation that's not bad. Especially considering how some people are claiming that the mining can be improved upon by 400%.

eduffield Your solution "to sync a list across the whole network." Do you mean you are taking every single MN into account and distributing the 20% MN reward to every MN? Are you also proposing to increase the block reward; As it is now with 5 darkcoin per block, are you proposing 5.25 per...

    Development Update - Oct 1, 2014

Getting rid of miners entirely is one of the worst ideas possible. If the masternodes are the only entities that create coins, then the currency has just become 100% Proof of Stake. Some of you are going "Hey that's great, I have MN's lets do this!" Let me try to explain why that's a bad line...
