Well a vps running dashd. Is only 5 bucks a month 5000 nodes is only like 25k to do it doesn’t prove those 5000 are individuals and not just a handful of people spinning up vps.

How would that cause fear? If you decide that you have a better way why not start you own coin and not worry about masternodes at all. I mean one of the great things about crypto is anyone with time and determination can create a coin based on thier values.

Remember every coin starts with some guy and a home internet connection.

Ok so 25 wasn’t enough for them to come back. What use cases are thier now for dash that will keep them coming back? I mean it is nice to meet and give stuff to people but we need to ensure thier is a return. Maybe we need to work to get merchants accepting dash in the area first then get users?

Right now it is believe that until we get to a 20 mb block vps’s should be fine at the current price master node operators make 3k a month so upgrading vps for each master node shouldn’t be an issue. Here is a link to info on the scaling plan...

I see dash crossing 1k next year and as I have told people in the past I think it will become a greater value then btc. If dash fuffils it’s goal of digital cash it will have a 1 trillion + market cap currently it is at 3.4 billion. Do that math at look at ur machines potential roi.

Correct but with the current hasrate I don’t see block times slowing to were the difficulty will make a major drop. Also when a new miner comes out in the future I see the diff climbing more but probably at a slower pace then with this flooding of miners that just happened.

But one big issue with the 2016 blocks is like the halt of blocks for btc when the price spike happened for bitcoin cash. We have to have users transact transactions more then needing miners to mine blocks.
