It’s that time again, here are the core team budget proposals for this month. The next superblock is scheduled for block 448632, which should occur approximately the afternoon (UTC) of Wednesday, April 6th. Our project is maturing quickly and we’re having to make many modifications to the way...

    Prioritization of fiat gateways

I'm in complete agreement about this point and am working on a process to revamp our governance workflow. I have a lot of change in mind for the network, but I need a few weeks to get ready to present new concept. As usual though, we are all thinking about the same thing... and I believe I have...

    Prioritization of fiat gateways

Multi-sig Wallet A multi-signature wallet with client side key storage. Designed for white-labelling, the multi-sig wallet serves as the basis for a number of user interfaces, including the exchange. Built using React.js, the wallet will be ready to be transformed from a web app into a native...

    Prioritization of fiat gateways

Fiat access ramps development will be prioritized by the core team over PR and advertising during the next few months, starting in March. With certain small exceptions like Dash Chinese promotion in tandem with 8BTC. For the next few months we will be focusing in partnerships, integrations and...

Budget System v2 / Transform PR

Hello, I’m guessing most of the community is aware that we had a 3-month contract with Transform PR that started last month. This contract was for $6000, denominated in Dash and locked into a rate of $3.38. I believe this contract was going really well and that we were making the correct choice...

Problems with Budget System / Possible Solutions

    1. This is a really good idea! I like it much better than our catchall idea (catching excess funding using a series of proposals). 2. I was thinking of exacting this as well, although with a couple modifications to stop some possible exploits. Proposals will have no expiration period and a...

    February 2016 Budget Proposal

It’s that time again, here are the budget proposals for this month. We’ve been working hard to invest resources as efficiently as possible. Budget allocation during Q1 looks like we are finishing up with several important investments we have done like our new dash.org domain among others. It is...

Say no to three backup servers

We could also use these other services as a method of storing the non-critical data. I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Say no to three backup servers

So there's no DashDrive paper yet, so I definitely understand the concerns that are being raised. Think of DashDrive as having multiple levels of redundancy, for different levels of data according to importance. DashDrive is going to utilize a blockchain itself and each block is going to consist...

Miami Conference & Next Development Goals

Hello Everyone, The Miami conference was fantastic, we met people from all over the world and it seemed everyone was really interested in learning more about Dash. The Bitcoin community is becoming more aware of our project and it seems like although they were very excited about Dash, they all...

Dash Birthday / Trademark Resolution / Blocksize Limitation

A couple more points, I wanted to bring over from BitcoinTalk. 1.) The problems with propagation do not pass from the Bitcoin network to the Dash network, due to the high quality second tier infrastructure. We can require specific infrastructure from our masternodes, which will allow for very...

Dash Birthday / Trademark Resolution / Blocksize Limitation

We didn't propose an exact fee structure yet, that will determined when the coding begins. It will be enough to stop a sybil/bloat attack and also enough to allow users a very low cost to transact on our network.

Dash Birthday / Trademark Resolution / Blocksize Limitation

Mining profitability will remain unaffected. We're not using all of even the 1MB blocks yet and mining profitability is mostly determined by the price of the coin, not really the bandwidth of our network at this point.

Dash Birthday / Trademark Resolution / Blocksize Limitation

Hello Everyone! As many of you know January 18th is the birthday of Dash and makes the project two years old. During that time we’ve accomplished an amazing amount as a team and as a community. I would like to congratulate everyone involved and it’s been a very exciting year and we’re super...

Budget Proposal: The Instantx Soda Machine!

Unfortanately the "591-soda-machine" was a little bit too big for the next super block and will not be paid. Due to this I've went ahead and submitted a new proposal called "590-soda-machine", which will definitely fit in the next budget. For future reference, here's how I figured out out the...
