I want to say one more thing regarding "The current state of 1000 Dash is too high". Why is this amount too high? There 4090 MNs in the world, is that not a great success? The number of MNs in the past 4 months has increased by about 1000. Someone created a chart. I wish I saved the link...

One of the best things about Dash is if you really think your idea is worth doing, you can propose it in a vote. There is nothing stopping anyone you from creating a proposal.

There are a lot of problems associated with decreasing the deposit for a MN. The greatest problem in my view is that there will be less return per node. That will hurt us when it comes time to upgrade to Dash Evolution, the next release. At that time, the servers will also need to be upgraded to...

Fortunately, I am keeping myself busy with a different part of my new website involving dash, so I don't even have time right now to install the new insight. But, I am definitely still interested. Keep me posted.

perhaps the dash-qt program needs to be told which wallet file to use. I am just making a general assumption here, but you can have more than one wallet using the same dash-qt as long as they are not launched at the same time. To do that, specify the files to look for. My setup is on a windows...

Do you have port 9999 open on your firewall and router? Verify here by calling to your node from here: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/

The dash install files can go pretty much anywhere. Going back to my first question, have you installed the dashman scripts and used them to verify that the node is working and registered on the Dash network? You should do this before you install dashcentral.org software.

I suppose if someone wants to single me out and attack my node, they could. But, for what? Just because I am me? So far, the internet isn't really that interested in me. I can't even get trolls to go after me on YouTube. I am that boring. LOL!

Goto https://www.dashninja.pl/ scroll down to the list. Click on the SHOW dialog, show ALL. The third column shows the IP and port of all the Master Nodes, including mine. It is public knowledge, and there are at least two lists that I know of.

in reality, all of that stuff is public knowledge. I don't think there is anything listed in the image that you couldn't find on the ninja website. Or am I wrong?

Is the node running and working already? Have you verified it with the dashman scripts? These are a free set of scripts that when you run them will verify that EVERYTHING is working properly. This should be done before you configure for dashcentral.org monitoring The scripts are here...

I think I had copied the dashcentral.conf from a different server and had forgotten to edit it for that master node. So, the solution was to verify the file dashcentral.conf.
