Dash is up again..... /cry SLOW DOWN!

There's a bigger chance of the Hawks-Panthers game getting replayed for whatever reason (turf sucked?) and Seahawks going on to win THIS year's superbowl...than Bernie getting elected.

Mike Hearn quits Bitcoin, help me invite him to Dash

He clearly wanted Bitcoin to be VISA, which it's not--and never will be. Bitcoin is what it is. If you fundamentally change it, it becomes something other than Bitcoin. The whole point is that you have something that simply exists, like gold, which is stable and not centralized or game-able...

    Electrum-Dash with Trezor support released!

Just a small bit of advice to anyone who is using Electrum for the first time or is unfamiliar with HD wallets: Do not use the import/sweep private key function to add money to it. If you import a private key from a standard wallet, it will not be recoverable with your 13-word mnemonic backup...

    Electrum-Dash with Trezor support released!

Running Dash Core and Electrum-Dash simultaneously should not be a problem at all, given that they use different data folders, connect to different servers, and use completely different wallet structures anyway.

Mike Hearn quits Bitcoin, help me invite him to Dash

Doing zero-conf business in Bitcoin was ALWAYS asking for trouble (satoshi recommended 6 confirmations to be safe, IIRC). RBF simply forces users to adhere to the same system that happens when real blocks are mined, to prevent further conflicts and problems down the road. Now if there was...

    Electrum-Dash with Trezor support released!

So by your definition, "cold storage" is a keypair which is generated completely offline, and from which not a single coin is spent from, nor signed to prove ownership publicly? There is no cold storage possible for masternode use, by that definition. The trezor does not simply protect against...

dashman - linux masternode mangement made mootastic

Ah, I see. I knew something awesome was in the works! Looking forward to it. For now, I guess I just wanted something quick and easy to check if multiple MN are online or not. I remember you or udjinM6 or someone else once posted how to do this just by using the masternodelist command and...

dashman - linux masternode mangement made mootastic

Got multi-MN (randomized!) voting working perfectly on a debian distro. I know you're busy on the soda machine now, but maybe you can help me with one more thing when you have a free moment. How do I tell "dashman status" to use the masternode.conf, like vote does?

BTC and DASH on same Trezor

Thanks for sharing. I like the custom homescreen! Plus, making your own custom Trezor firmware like that gives you the added benefit of evil maid protection. (but not evil-maid protection against someone in possession of Satoshilab's firmware signing keys, which is very unlikely anyway)

dashman - linux masternode mangement made mootastic

I'm trying dashman on fedora20 and although installing nc fixed the missing netcat error I had initially, i now get a missing netcat6 message. installing nc6 supposedly should do the trick, but it doesn't. Any ideas, or should I just burn this old fedora and try debian?

    Dash Lamassu Integration Official Thread

Thanks for the explanation. I see your point about it being open source. I suppose it is effectively no different than any other open-source development that Dash funds for its own protocol improvement. All of the *paid* effort to develop new Dash features and integration is freely available...

    Dash Lamassu Integration Official Thread

I'm interested in the details of the agreement. Is there any exclusivity baked into it? The reason I ask is, if Dash is funding Lamassu's development of an altcoin integration platform for its machines, then what happens when Lamassu offers the same service for another (mostly compatible)...
