Dash Wallet for Android (Release 4) [closed]

Yes, the app uses an HD wallet. One backup is enough. Regarding the regular DASH Wallet, a dev from that team should answer, but you might be right! Thanks for this info. The version that you were trying has many bug fixes. InstantX may be broken now as this is the second report of a crash...

The app uses the correct graphics. Google Play still may use some old darkcoin graphics, I will need to get those updated.

Dash Wallet for Android (Release 4) [closed]

The github https://github.com/HashEngineering/darkcoin-wallet has been updated to the Bitcoin Wallet 4.33. The build system has changed to gradle. As before it is necessary to build darkcoinj using maven first. I will build the apk file and put it on GitHub soon for testing.

Thanks for these files, it is what I need to get the icons set up correctly for the app. The Bitcoin Wallet developers have them automatically generated from SVG for the different sizes as part of the code, instead of manually making them.

I have published changes to github, but the icons are not quite ready. Is there an SVG version of the Dash Icon?

Good News, in my testing I have upgraded to Bitcoin Wallet 4.33, which included the change to the gradle build tools, which solved many of my building problems with 4.28. There are changes to the interface, however, in the main screen.

I am not sure how to get the wallet file out of a device with a busted screen. the file is under the /data/data/hashengineering.darkcoin.wallet folder, which can only be accessed by the app itself or on a rooted device.

Rename the file on your desktop to "darkcoin-wallet-backup-2015-06-06" then transfer it to you the SD card on your phone in the Download folder. Then in the Dash Wallet, go to the options menu, then Safety, then Restore Wallet. Select your file from the list...

I will be on vacation for two weeks. When I return I plan to get more work done on the Dash Wallet. At that time I will resume the upgrade to the latest Bitcoin Wallet. https://github.com/HashEngineering/darkcoin-wallet/releases/tag/v4.18r3 is another place to get a download link.

    Android Wallet v4

Fernando, you have asked a great question (which shows much understanding of how the app works and how DASH works). Implementing multiple payouts is not easy. What I will do is ask Andreas Schildbach if that is a feature he plans to add to the Bitcoin Wallet in the future. Maybe it will one...

    Have I lost my Dash?

In the app, go to Settings | Diagnostics | Report Issue. Make sure you check wallet dump, as well as device info and application log. This will help me figure out why your DASH has not arrived.

Dash Wallet for Android (Release 4) [closed]

I have started the process of upgrading to the latest Bitcoin Wallet version on this app. It is supposed to include some speed improvements on syncing. It will also have more translations and more of a "Material Design" look (from Android 5.0).

Dash Wallet for Android (Release 4) [closed]

These are great questions, let me answer them. First of all, this new version of the app uses what is called an HD Wallet. An HD wallet is a wallet where all addresses are based on a single seed value. You can read more about it here...
