I only skimmed your proposal but you are missing the 2 most important points. What's in it for Dash and how much is this going to cost.

If you originally installed dashd using dashman then you can upgrade with it without issues. At least I didn't run into any issues with this upgrade. But I had problems in the past when trying to update something that wasn't installed by dashman but manually.

Going to vote Yes. Now that some of the confusion has cleared up I think this Proposal will help dash. But just for the Future, they should have mentioned that the Dash integration and the Marketing where basically done already. And leave the pre-proposal up for a couple of days before...

I was in favour of this proposal but I wanted to see them use an escrow. Well this sucks.

Regarding the length of this proposal. 1 payment is probably too much and 12 months are definitely too long as the price of dash might change drastically in that time frame. The sweet spot I think is 3 months. If it's actually possible for the Network to receive equity in return for our funding...

We had some proposals of this kind and they all failed to deliver on time. So unless you can prove that you have all the legal stuff done already and signed agreements for locations to put the ATMs I will have to vote no.

This will unfortunately only work if everybody starts doing it which is quite unlikely. Something I think should be improved is that you can only submit proposals for the current budget cycle a week before the voting deadline or earlier.

Well if you look at the old proposal on dashcentral they state they have submitted the newer version of the proposal 4 days ago but ran into some issues. And since Mastermind confirmed that he also had issues with proposal that had the same name in the past i am inclined to belive them.

@tungfa the proposal was submitted before the DFN article there was just an issue with it showing up on DashCentral because of it having the same name. personally, I am voting for this proposal and hope that it will succeed despite the short time frame.

@RGXDK Why do you care if they will profit from this the only question should be if we are going to profit from this and I think that's a pretty clear yes.

I would really recommend you put some effort into creating a Dash Africa Organization that's funded from the blockchain and can then pay for these kinds of proposal.

I wanted to vote no on the next proposal from core because of the insufficient communication thanks to https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/project-portfolio-report-october-2017.17424/#post-142868 I can vote yes. But please make sure to post those reports regularly and keep working on improving...

I would vote for this as long as it doesn't push anything else out of the budget. Because i have to agree with others this seems to be a very high cost for maybe a future benefit.
