Reread my quote again. There were critical known issues on testnet at the time we went live. I don't see a reason why we should go live on main network with known issues. I agree that main network is the better testnet, but as long as we have bugs unfixed on testnet, why bothering going live?

Hi, which wallet are you using? The darkcoin wallet by HashEngineering or Coinomi? You could import the keys into a desktop wallet and send the coins to your phone.

No, testnet is perfeclty fine. We are simply not using it correctly. The source code has too many exceptions for testnet and we go live on main net even with big major issues left behind.

The daemon might reject the rpcuser/password. Or its not running. Or it's listening on wrong port. Whats your configuration? And what requests are that?

I fully agree. These immature releases have to stop. Now we just need a strategy to convince evan about that.

Yeah the darkcoin genesis hash string was unused in their wallet. Not a bug, simply dead weight.
