Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

I pretty much stand corrected. The last time I looked was a little while back and you guys have been busy cleaning up. Very nice job. PS: amazing job on https://github.com/UdjinM6/insight-api-dash just finishing syncing that baby up!!! I'll post links once it is done.

Still formulating responses for 1-3 but off the top I think you justified my point. Even we don't know which is the master :) I'm not trying to be overly critical perhaps all that is required is some clean-up. I'll get more into 1-3 when I have more time.

Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

Great that we have some reference I hadn't seen that yet. The base point I was trying to make was that during most conversion's involving mature brands on the web there is usually some effort made to maintain old links that may be linked to from around the web. Lots of people talked about...

Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

Even more reason that we don't bury our darkcoin roots and maintain a backwards and forwards path as to where we have come and where we are going. You go to our github and can't find any left from of our old project name yet the one legal entity we control is still flying the wrong banner. This...

Can you get a website already so I can order some wine with Dash! Thanks bigrcanada. It one one of the biggest lesson's my first VC taught me. Your balance sheet isn't a proper balance sheet if it doesn't contain all the actual costs to run your business. You don't make a bunch of money if you...

Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

I don't care about the cost of the services. I care about the experience of the end user. At the current moment we are shipping a piece of software that People and Businesses will use as digital money for everyday financial transactions. To this extent we owe it to the end user to take all...

Volunteer to support Dash development (Debian Packaging)

You guys realize the glibc requirements for debian to be supported right? This isn't about compiling a .deb package.

Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

Yeah see you and I completely disagree on this one. I think this project has grown up well beyond the scope of using free services. So far this week I've heard that slack doesn't work well cause we are on the "free" account. Now I'm hearing that we can't afford to properly sign our software...

Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

To fix the executable's we are releasing being flagged on all operating systems as not valid we need to purchase and start using a Extended Validation (EV) Code Signing Certificate supported on all major platforms. Costs about $1000 for 3 years...

    Help the Darksend documentation

It should probably remain open until a time where we can confirm that all the content has been moved over to the official wiki. Funny enough I don't even think I still have a working password for the site perhaps you can send me a password reset too. [email protected] I have to admit I've...

Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

Moli all my thoughts and ideas are just stolen from you anyways so get used to it. I ABSOLUTELY love where your mind is going with this moli it's exactly what my concern is. Identifying and addressing with proper processes all the single points of failure that can bring this project to a halt...

    Dash Mission and Vision Statement

Clear, concise, descriptive. Almost gave me goose bumps. I can tell from this first product that we have great people working on this initiative. Had zero input and couldn't have said it better myself. Great job guys. Are we good to start quoting this?

I litterally had to setup an account just for this. For people with only one computer that sucks for us super nerds we have computers for skype and computers for holding dash and computers for our computers. So that isn't much of an issue.

Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

Found this old post that is worth adding here for reference I believe it stemed from that one day back in the day where enforcement got stuck on after a spork and nobody could get a hold of evan to disable it and we didn't have a block accepted for like 5 hours or something...

Thanks for the comments. I must come across as such a dick to those pour suckers. Good thing they know that I'm only poking, prodding, and sticking my nose in places that will hopefully help the project!

Announcing the Project Management and Delivery Excellence Initiative

LOL please I've been around long enough I don't get that butt hurt anymore about being excluded, it's almost expected now. It's just funny that again I'm the most vocal one regarding this issues and I'm still constantly being left out of "the conversation". I've become frustrated enough on lack...

    Debian Packaging

Interesting. This would probably be much easier now that Debian 8 has been released as I believe it has a new enough GLIBC now. Last time I looked at doing anything on Debian I had issues with GLIBC version's of default debian wheezy being too old. In order to get the machine to run DASH I...
