I just choose a randomly higher number then the current. I think i went with 70058 cause it allowed me to only change one character. LOL.

p2pool code needs a version bump on line 22 of the ~/p2pool/bitcoin/p2p.py file. It's still showing version 70038 and this now won't let the new wallets update. I have manually adjusted it to 70058 and finally my p2pool nodes started working again.

Isn't learning how to use a coin what testnet is for? I'm not disagreeing this issue shouldn't be fixed but imho we should be pointing people who want to learn to testnet. They can play with 1000's of coins with no risk.
