    Evaluating the privacy of PrivateSend

Hey Dashcoiner. Can you provide some links to the other studies that you are talking about? In my opinion even if no transactions can't be de-anonymized it doesn't mean that PrivateSend is flawless and there is no room for improvements. Have you seen any other analysis that can give you the...

    Evaluating the privacy of PrivateSend

2-input PrivateSend transaction charts above. I would have expected PrivateSend transactions where both inputs are from the same block to have significantly worse privacy but that doesn't seem to be the case. Sometimes it is even the opposite. I guess there might be too little data to analyze...

    Evaluating the privacy of PrivateSend

I made some charts to see how the number of inputs in a given denomination affects privacy. The series (0.01, 0.1, 1.0 and 10.0) represent privatesend transactions that contain inputs only from the specific denomination. The y-axis (Traceability) is the average percentage of the most often...

    Evaluating the privacy of PrivateSend

Updated the analysis data on the demo website. Now each transaction has been analyzed for at least 70 seconds (10 for each round). Transactions still have varying number of simulations because it is slower to find valid PrivateSend mixings when there is a large amount of inputs or when the...

Pre-proposal: DASH mining on green agenda + extra profit

I like the concept of using miners to warm your house/water or using them to grow food. That is something I would probably do myself if I lived in a big house. But right now Dash needs adoption and I don't see how this can help with adoption in a significant way. I believe that as mining becomes...

Pre-proposal: DASH mining on green agenda + extra profit

I don't believe that Dash should fund this. The budget is very small compared to the demand and this proposal is very expensive. I also think that if the boilers make economical sense then the project should be able to self fund or get funding from investors.

    DashRadar development thread

Hi and thanks for the feedback! I like your idea of making the limit configurable in the settings. Increasing the limit will probably cause massive lag issues as well as a visual mess. But I guess it should be a choice if the user wants to. Maybe I will make the limit configurable and change...

    Proposal: dash-electrum development and support Q2 2018

Looks like a great proposal in my opinion. Can you elaborate about "integrate with OpenBazaar and other shopping API, starting with local Ukrainian ones"? Why is this needed?

    DashRadar development thread

Update Export to JSON in graph visualization no longer opens a new browser tab. This was causing issues with ad blockers and certain browsers. Thanks to @thephez for reporting this issue! Added address clustering (a.k.a guesstimated wallets) based on the multi-input heuristic to the backend...

@John Reed Can you provide proof of how much @DashingDude has agreed to pay you for the Waterfront office and the Ambassador program? @DashingDude Can you provide proof of spending 10 Dash on both the Waterfront office and the Ambassador program?

multiple MN instances on 1 VPS

Why you need to allow rpc ports in the firewall? Doesn't "rpcallowip=127.0.0.1" already limit rpc connections to localhost? I think specifying externalip might be unnecessary but I'm not sure. Maybe try setting up testnet masternodes first?

is there a need to mix coins and use "private sent" ?

I often use coin control together with PrivateSend so that I can send the whole amount (and avoid paying up to 0.01 fee) by copying the value in "After Fee" field. If you do that then technically there is no difference whether you have PrivateSend enabled or not because you are not receiving any...

    Evaluating the privacy of PrivateSend

Thanks! Thanks for the feedback. That thing has crossed my mind also but I have never done any GPU programming so I don't know if graph traversal type algorithms are possible to implement in a gpu. I have been thinking of more ways to measure privacy of PrivateSend transactions. One of them is...

    Evaluating the privacy of PrivateSend

Update: I made a demo website to demonstrate the PrivateSend analysis tool. Here is a few example PrivateSend transactions analyzed: https://demo.dashradar.com/?txid=d055b2a298522124a6ad00acf03c280efdb0ace409ade2bff6ef4b4ff159a1f2...

My proposal does not appear in DashCentral

Tried submitting the proposal to the network myself using "gobject submit" command. Now I can see the proposal using "gobject list" command so I think it worked. I hope it will appear in DashCentral soon. I think DashCentral just didn't brodcast the proposal although there was no error message...

My proposal does not appear in DashCentral

I wonder if I messed something up. I created a proposal using DashCentral but it hasn't appeared after more than 1 hour of waiting. Here is the 5 Dash transaction id: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/tx.dws?66bbe32d2e9d30539589da5417a58f9f1306e24d08b1208d1537c6a5853713f8.htm

    My account lags.

This is the post to test the limitation. Edit: Got "you must wait at least 104 seconds" message so the limit seems to be ~2 minutes for me. Something seems to be wrong with your account. I would appreciate more transparency from the moderators and admins.
