Did you also get your funds back? I got mine just a few minutes ago. Thank you to moocowmoo and to anyone in the community who helped make this happen.
EDIT: My dash was just returned to me, thank you moocowmoo
On the 10th of August users of moocowmoo's shared masternode service received an email informing us that he is shutting down his service and apologizing for being in the dark for so long.
The was quite a relief for me after trying to...
Thank you tungfa and JGCMiner, and a big congratulations to moocowmoo if he reads this. Sounds like it will all be well soon and that I should just sit back and give it more time.
I'm having a similar problem, been missing moocowmoo for a week now. He told me he might be 2 days late setting up the last batch masternode shares I bought but I didn't expect him to disappear this long. I hope someone here knows moocowmoo personally and it would be great know if everything is ok.
I think the problem was how the update to python was done. However the executable binaries works perfectly out of the box, thank you for making them available.
Hi
That was fast. I'm trying to get the latest version (v0.9.18) up and running on a Ubuntu 16.04, 64 bit. Didn't try any previous version but we did have some problems with upgrading the python3. After installing the latest the older version of python3 was still the default version. I just...

I'm trying to get into the cool club here and want to use the DMT. My system is Ubuntu 16.04 and I have python 3.5.2 installed.
After starting the program with "python3 DashMasternodeTool" I get the following error:
SyntaxError: Non-UTF-8 code starting with '\xe8' in file...
Thank you, it worked.
One notice, the command "masternode start-missing <yourwalletpassphrase>" didn't work:
Error: Please enter the wallet passphrase with walletpassphrase first. (code -13)
But I unlocked the wallet under settings instead and got it running.
I'm trying to update my masternode following the guide at atlassian.
The problem beginns at Install sentinel agent on masternode on step 7:
at this point, running
venv/bin/python bin/sentinel.py
should return nothing but silence. This is how you know it's working.
Instead I get:
