The collaboration with the Mycelium team continues, they keep making progress on their wallet and the Dash team has been highly responsive to any requests for support. Although initial joint press announcements back in July anticipated an October release, there have been delays versus the initial plan, though these are not within the control of our team. Mycelium is transitioning its wallet to a new version that includes many changes, such as library updates and modularization to their existing BTC wallet. These changes need to be completed first before Dash could be added.

Along with the architectural changes, they are working on a new UI and some additional capabilities such as SegWit support. To accelerate the development process Mycelium decided to split the work into two parallel streams.

The NEW wallet (with the new UI) will now be implemented separately from the modularization of Classic wallet, and the Dash integration will be incorporated with the update of the Classic wallet. This will speed up the integration process. The NEW wallet will be released at a later date.

The changes are rather extensive:

- In preparation of Dash integration in Mycelium (classic), the transaction broadcast and receive was moved to a module

- Securing communication between modules involved additional research

- The Dash module has been updated, to make it consistent with the Bitcoin module

- Changing the main programming language from Java to Kotlin

We continue to follow the development process closely and will keep the community updated as new information becomes available.

As recently discussed on our Q4 2016 status update call, this project is currently on hold until the partner finishes a large update to their software. Until this new software architecture is completed it is not possible to add Dash or any other token. Our relationship with the partner remains very positive and we are ready to resume as soon as they are ready for us. It is important to notice that no funding has been requested for this project by us or the partner, so we naturally need to be patient and wait for them to complete their update. Our developer that was working on this is focused on new tasks in the meantime until the project can be resumed.

Dear Community,
Let me share with you an update about our integration with new version of Mycelium wallet.
I am attaching a project charter with basic information about it. For us it is rather simple project as we lease one of our developers and help with development and integration on the Mycelium side. Project control is on Mycelium side.

Another file contains the status update report from the project meeting today.

Hello All,
Please find the 3 reports from last weeks attached.

Overall project is on track. The only risk with obsolete BitcoinJ library was eliminated and the team works on the implementation of multi-currency wallet
Budget and resources are on the satisfactory level from our perspective. Mycelium PM did not request any additional resources.

Hello All,
Please find the project update attached below. Here are some general comments about the progress:
  1. Very first version of SPV Dash Module (for testnet) published on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dash.mycelium.spvdashmodule.testnet)
  2. Initialisation of wallets using coin level keys works for btc and bch modules, dash still bases on master seed.
  3. Finally managed to perform tests of multiple modules working simultaneously. A lot of things need to be improved, but the practical sense of core architecture functionality has been confirmed.
  4. Project is on track.
  5. Budget and Resources on optimal level.
