Decentralization / Voting concern...

Hi all,

I have a question/concern regarding decentralization. I am pretty sure it has been discussed several times (at least I found 2-3 topics in bitcointalk) but the ones I read weren't very civilized at the end :)

It has been claimed that in the first 2 days 2M DASH were mined by an error in the codebase. I do not believe that this was deliberate but I can see why it an issue for some people. I checked the blockchain and I saw that the first 3456 blocks (~9 hours from the genesis block) 1.7M DASH were mined so the claim seems correct.

2M represent half the MN voting power... and thus people claim that voting is not as decentralized as people might think.

Doesn't this matter? What do people here think? What is the counter-argument?

Thanks
