DashForce Meetup & Presentation Program

Hello fellow Dash-ians, I just had my seventh meetup in Guadalajara at the old place, Wingman on June 25th. Unfortunately the weather (very heavy rain) and traffic got in the way and I only 3 new people in total for this meeting plus me. 2 of them were a couple who knew nothing of cryptocurrencies and the other was a systems' engineer who was very familiar with this.

1) I explained what cryptocurrencies are, what Blockchain is, how to acquire cryptocurrencies here in Mexico and how to exchange them into Dash, how to send and receive and the different kind of wallets that there are. Some were already familiar with cryptocurrencies and blockchain, so to them I only explained the Dash part of things.

2) I explained what Dash is and its features, as well as why it is better than others and that it is currently being accepted in different businesses around the world. So basically what is Dash? What are masternodes? What is InstantSend? What is PrivateSend? What is DAO? And the block rewards. Most of the new people had heard about Dash before, but not in such a deep manner as the one I explained.

3) I had 3 new people attend. but only sent 5 USD to one of them. This was because the woman from the couple had her cell phone battery drained and the systems' engineer, as soon as I mentioned I was gonna give them money, took off, claiminig this was some sort of scam/MLM scheme... his loss.

4) I did not take any pictures because it would have basically been just of me and the couple, however I am uploading the screenshot of the sole transaction.

Dash Meetup Report
I had a meetup on the 30th June, 2018 and it had a great turnout.

We had 45 people present at the event and they were all glad they could make out the time to come for the event.
The meetup was purely for youths whom in this modern world are the investors and possibly will be the highest users of cryptocurrency in the future.
I made sure i was able to break down every topic to a ground-level understanding.

We had a live demo were i demonstrated how they can conveniently use their dash to purchase top-ups from bitrefill.com and pico.com

I also showed them the process of creating a new wallet using the Dash core wallet which by the way is amazing as we could physical prove the instantaneousness of the Dash InstantSend. We also had a theoretical explanation of how the coin mixing mechanism that is being used for Dash privateSend works.

Due to certain private reasons on the part of most of the audience, only about 14 of them came with their mobile phones.
And so this left me no choice but to send 5 dollars worth of Dash to just the 14 people that came with their mobile devices.

Those received $10 Buy Airtime on Bitrefill and some pay Canteen at the Hotel, Some too didn't buy anything but not all was spent instantly. Many transactions was created on that day using Dash for payment.

The Dash Pereira team held an event in the city of Pereira 27 June at 6pm in Aromas del Café, a merchant that accepts Dash as a form of payment.


There were 6 participants and 6 new wallets opened, I sent 5 dollars each in Dash to the 6 people to their wallets.


Everyone was happy with the event and saw that Dash can influence at the regional level in payment methods. I showed them the process of how to create a Dash wallet and do Dash transactions, and they practiced what I showed them.


The participants consumed products of the venue and paid in Dash. They would like to have regular learning events about Dash in Pereira in order to learn more about the topic and include family and friends in the use of the form of payment Dash.

Participants were much excited about the unique features of Dash digital cash. We had 17 wallets downloaded and installation. First 7 downloaders were tipped $5 worth of dash each. Lucky winners were shown where to use dash and 3 winners bought recharge card on bitrefill.com . We also had a football match after the meet up to entertain ourselves.
