So, you updated your masternode(s) to Dip003, but you don’t know how to vote?
It’s easy! Here is how:
Get the ProTX Hash from your DashCore wallet. From the Masternodes tab, alt-click the masternode Address and copy the ProTx Hash
Open the debug console:
Using that hash, get the address...
@Pablogda When you update the software, the wallet file(s) is/are not overwritten. You can safely install the latest version on top of the previous version without losing the old wallet(s). HOWEVER, it never hurts to first launch the old version of the wallet, and take an extra backup of the...
I noticed that the faucet takes donations in tDash, so I decided to send 233 tDash back to the faucet! It was not able to estimate fees, so here is how I did it:
The Dash Electrum wallet is fantastic. It is really easy to understand.
Ok, I see that the 32 bit version installs and works on a 64 bit OS. It also installs the TOR proxy as a combo. I reinstalled the 64 bit version, and it does not install TOR. So, why is Tor part of the 32 bit version. Not sure.
But... hey - if we can get a 32 bit installer as part of this...
I love Dash Electrum. It is the best wallet for new users because it shows the balance of each address in a way that is easy to understand.
Would it be possible to release Electrum for 32 bit windows? There are MANY users in Venezuela that must choose between JAXX and Core because they do not...
Would there be proposals not considered "key" and if so why? Would Core team be evaluated? Would proposals with a small asking price be evaluated? Sometimes we have just a few proposals and other times we see over 30 in one month. How would that effect your work?
Hello @GrandMasterDash ! Thanks for your replies. I own two domains: dash.red and dash.lol - for the time being, Dash.red will continue to be a promotional website for Dash. We hope to get funding again.
Perhaps one day, I will sell or donate the domains. I would prefer that they be used in...
I will make at least one more attempt to get funding from the DAO, when the time is right.
Donate? Sell? I don't know. Is there need for the domain by someone? What is this Dash Trust you speak of? A sincere question!
@TaoOfSatoshi - Thank you so much - please do not donate to Dash.red!!!
There are friends of mine in Latin America who may need donations in these days of tight budgets. Their projects are more important than mine: GeorgeDonnelly (George), AlgodonFranelas (Eugenia), DashArgentina (Angel)...
The idea was always to create a promotion for Dash. It was never to make a profitable enterprise by selling advertising. I think a number of masternode owners thought it was gambling or didn't care that it generated 3000+ transactions per day, each at less than 25 cents! Maybe it will return...
We had four slot machines. Of course, they were just promotional games - easy to win - never lose games. However, we lost our funding from the DAO. Thus, we are out of business for the time being. Thanks!
Download the transactions, open in a spreadsheet, sort by Dash address. Oh, look, there are many duplicates (many, many, many!) - and when you simply put any one them into a blockchain explorer, instead of seeing two transactions, as claimed by the spreadsheet (which totals 183 Dash expended to...
I am getting that error today. Here is my fix:
Edit the file lib/dashman_functions.sh
look for the line:
if [ -e $INSTALL_DIR/sentinel ]; then
and just before it, add (use the correct directory of course):
INSTALL_DIR=/home/dash/.dashcore
This will manually force the script to find...
@blockmaster and @moocowmoo To fix the unary operator expected error, edit the file lib/dashman_functions.sh
look for the line:
if [ -e $INSTALL_DIR/sentinel ]; then
and just before it, add (use the correct directory of course):
INSTALL_DIR=/home/dash/.dashcore
This will manually...
