Using #DASH.org as hashtag

The #DASH hashtag has been pretty much filled by other types of news, non-DASH related until not long ago. DASH had little visibility there but that's beginning to change. If you check the #DASH hashtag now you will see that the bulk of it is Dash related.

I'm thinking why not starting using it like this #DASH.org to also advertise the dash.org domain. Hit two birds with one stone and leave extra room for other stuff.

Hummm Ok, so you look up the hash tag to see what people are saying about it?

Cool, I never understood twitter, but this kinda works for me, say Sara's post with Pictures of Daniel and his wife next to Evan and Sara :D Too cool!
 
That's it. The same with #DashDC #DigitalCash #Darkcoin and now #Dash.org :wink:

Pretty much. Usually projects and events use hashtags in case people want to follow-up on stuff and see what's going on in that sphere or to be part of the conversation. Bitcoin Miami uses this one #btcmiami Just type #btcmiami in the twitter search box to get to the hashtag.

Thats fine, but I feel like #Dash is already use too much by beauty related things. Dash happens to be quite common weirdly...

And THATs why Tao was always asking for us to use hashtags! I was so confused, I really wasn't helping! I had no idea! LOL Thanks guys so much. I actually looked it up and got some in-depth technical explanation, when all I wanted to know was why? and what does it do? LOL, so I gave up.

I agree just that depending on how long the tweet is you have to decide between a few hashtags like for e.g if you use #DashDC or #DigitalCash instead of something else. I think advertising the dash.org domain is something that can only help us. We can take over the #dash hashtag as community grows even if it's somewhat populated by other names for now.

I hope we do soon, just noticed that alot of women who love spamming social media use #Dash because its a beauty thing. So we have a large hill to climb. And besides we should have a set of hashtags to use, not just like 1-2. We should have a hierarchy of 30 of them. Since more hashtags is better usually.
 
If you do a twitter search for #DASH.org it will narrow down the search somewhat, showing results containing the org part as well.
