Can web advertising be added to the Dash budget?

Could easily help get a lot of new users seeing as everyone it would advertise to would be Bitcoin/Altcoin users.

Just wanted to point that out, might end up using them for my own website soon. Haven't checked out the prices yet, but I'm sure it could be taken care of for relatively cheap.

Isn't it included in the marketing budget? I'd expect it to be so

We'll perhaps a better budget breakdown is in order? Alot of us have expertise in certain areas that can help guide the budgeting, instead of just buying some regular old google ads we should really be focusing on niche groups at first, if we need I can go through and do some keyword research to find out the best places/words to advertise within Google.

I agree, if there's a budget breakdown, I'd also like to see it. What I'm not so keen on is run-of-the-mill PPC advertising. I think money's better spent with placements and educational material. I would also add preppers to the list of receptive communities.

I agree but advertising is needed for exposure, just not on the wrong websites or to the wrong people/eyeballs.

I just think that real world hands-on placements would make for a stronger and lasting impression than money burned on "live" PPC. It's not like we're trying to make a fast buck.. I assume we're in this for the long haul. When a prepper or a stacker introduces crypto to their subscribers, they're telling a story, explaining how it compliments and works with their existing hobby.

A better budget breakdown, probably yes. But it looks like you think the team is just buying some Google AdWords ads and hoping for the best. I'm not saying you believe that -- but that it looks like you do (from what I bolded above from your quote).

The team working on the SEO isn't just grasping at straws. They're professionals and have expertise in the exact areas you're likely referring to. Professional expertise, because they get paid to do it every day. I'm almost certain they also have a high-level strategy to target a certain user group (otherwise they'd not be professionals). Others on the Dash team have written about the engagement with the SEO folks in different posts, from what I remember reading on here. I really don't think they're just throwing money at Google ads and hoping for the best.

Maybe they're also waiting for a certain time, maybe for a reason (Evolution?, Miami conference?) -- waiting for the opportune moment can be a strategic move in itself. I'm speaking in general terms of strategy now, nothing specific in mind.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for Dash and your efforts in Getting Shit Done. Sometimes things need to grow organically for a reason.
