When starting a masternode, this message...

Yeah, lots of messages in debug.log are poorly worded and might not make sense to general users. However users shouldn't really bother to read any messages unless these messages are screaming "ERROR" or smth like that :)

This one specifically is a very very very old one and it basically means that your remote masternode daemon recognized either a start command from your local wallet or the fact that it's already a part of the masternode network and so it's up and running now. There is nothing really needed to be shutdown, all is good :)
 
Thanks for asking, we should really clean some thing up ther to avoid confusion :)
