Hello,

I would like to propose to change to our voting according to the amount of coins held, so that all Dash users will be able to vote. Not only Masternode owners with a 1000 DASH.

Because if/when Dash breaks a $1000, like Bitcoin did, only a millionaires will be able to afford a Masternode.

I'd like to keep small investors interested in this technology, and in general, in traditional corporations small share-holders have voting rights.

Well in theory you could have that with shares, which is what the MN role will be achieved in evolution. And is not 100 dash is 1000. :)

This will probably happen during Dash Evoltion when the "interest bearing" accounts come out.

I remember Evan explaining this during the end of the Q4 Dash Conference call this year.

You'll find it in the Q&A toward the end, maybe about an hour in.

Say you, me, and 48 other people each had 20 Dash to make up a total of 1000 (a whole masternode). If the majority of us vote yes then the entire singular vote of the 1 masternode will be a yes vote.

Already in effect.

You have to have 1000 DASH to vote.

Working as intended.

The last thing we need is the homeless drunk off the street casting votes on the board of directors. There are enough socialist retards with masternodes they bought 2 years ago already...

I fear they won't grow up until a MN costs $1,000,000.

I used to think it would start to clear up around $100,000 mark, but look at the last month of "people" talking... Clearly, $100,000 is nowhere near expensive enough.

But, if the leadership doesn't start taking IX seriously, it will never happen.

look. A stock on NYSE starts at $5.Any homeless drunk can buy it and vote in a traditional corporation.

In practice this is how the small investors are learning about things.

I would like to keep this amount of freedom here, in DASH DAO

Vote for all iPhone users, not to only Apple's shares holders?

Makes sense to me. The drunks' voting power would be proportionately insignificant. Such a move would re-distribute voting power and stakes to the larger community, in line with the decentralization efforts.

That is what is going to happen when evolution comes out. Anyone with Dash savings can vote. So I was told by a dev
