too many inputs

Hi,

Tried to send some dash from my wallet for the first time today but I got the message "transaction too large". I noticed that I have some 897 inputs. I tried selecting a bunch manually and sending them to myself to try to consolidate them but now I have 1009 inputs.

I think mixing created all these inputs plus I have some mining inputs.

How can I clean up the inputs so that I can send DASH.

Try sending smaller amounts - this should select lower number of inputs and tx should propagate.

We did that on testnet
The topic is about creating tx with 1000s of inputs, not about creating block with 1000s txes.

You can only fit ~670 inputs in one tx (100KB / 148 bytes per input iirc).

I have 5k+ small txs (p2pool rewards), and all selected is about 700kb, so I wanted to try consolidate it by 1 tx, but now I need new plan

But with current price direction, even small tx become large in $ equivalent, and no need to consolidate
Except that inputs window opens and works not fast..
