Tungfa, I can only speak for the UK, the legal system controls the country and the court system is totally owned by those in charge with the whole legal merry go round gravy train being paid crazy amounts of money in order to do what they are told (a judge can get $3000 per hour of court attendance),
basically they are a type of over paid aristocracy to keep the peasants on minimum wage in line.

An example of this in practice is the so called 'super injunctions' (usually made by the guilty) that stop the media and the tv speaking about any possible allegations or crimes that person may have committed (regularly used by MP's to shut the media up), often that person has to die before the injunction is terminated and the truth finally comes out, which by that time doesn't matter anyway.
