I've been experiencing this since a couple of days. Can this be fixed?

Receiving wget error as well when using "HTTPS"
Code:
--2014-05-31 13:22:45-- https://darkcoin.io/downloads/darkcoin-qt
Resolving darkcoin.io (darkcoin.io)... 162.252.83.46
Connecting to darkcoin.io (darkcoin.io)|162.252.83.46|:443... connected.
OpenSSL: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol
Unable to establish SSL connection.

I also have problems. With Chome-Windows I can only load it if I type www before the address. No problem with Firefox in Windows or Ubuntu.

I found the issue: After I cleared browser history all worked.

So the issue is that the browser tried to redirect me to the https address, as it remembers that it's an https site from the past. I guess this was changed recently. So all good now. Would still be good if https address showed the site somehow since more people will be experiencing this. Issue not as big anymore though.

The issue is not resolved.

I can confirm that all downloads on the download page are broken (providing they attempt to send you a file hosted on the darkcoin domain), seems to be an SSL misconfig somewhere. To fix it you'll need to manually copy the links and change the http to https.
This happened on Google Chrome Version 35.0.1916.114 m (Windows 7 x64).

All HTTPS and download links working fine for me on Firefox, Chrome, and IE (Windows 7 x64).
