Following up on that… I recommend watching the documentary on Edward Snowden called Citizenfour.
It helps illustrate the challenges to democracy and freedom both for present and future generations, when companies and lobby controlled governments go mad, when they harm the very people they are supposed to serve and represent, often forgetting that they too are people.
