can`t you simply use the wallet to mine?
setgenerate true (you mine with all cores) or setgenerate true 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 (number depending of how many cores you have

For a start off you are mining scrypt by accident, set your .bat or config file kernal to --darkcoin-mod or --x11mod not --scrypt!!
don't know that pool, try using mining.darkcointalk.org:3333 and you'll find more blocks.
Here is the better cpu miner thats way quicker,
Windows 1.3 avx-aes works well for me,
