Have you ever tried to save your wallet in a folder and been denied permission to save it even though you're logged in as the top level admin user and security settings inside properties does not work either?
This has happened to me twice in windows 8, and once for a mining folder(couldn't mine even though I undid the permissions in DOS or so I thought)
You have to download this reg edit program in order to 'take ownership' of your separate files, and add to your context menu and then just right click on the destination folder and take ownership.
Windows 7,

Windows 8,

I downloaded 'Add_Take_Ownership_with_Pause.reg'
The pause allows you to see if the files inside the folder have had their settings changed at the end showing an appropriate 'SUCCESS' in a DOS window.
