How cool would it be to have alternative designs?

I was discussing this with a designer friend of mine, we were discussing what a Darkcoin logo in the future might look like….

How about a rectangular box with a glossy black background encased in a glossy gold veined frame. How about having the word Darkcoin in simple letters within the box in shiny mother of pearl? We are thinking marble textures...
