I keep reading posts from people saying how they are not happy with p2p mining right now. I started mining in 2011 and there was just one coin. I also have not stopped since I started except for 3 months when I was traveling in 2014, about this time actually. I always had a little mining farm set up in my basement, but when I came home last year I upgraded my miners. I also started dabbling in cloud hashing, and for the beginner that wants to get involved but may not have the money or exact know how. First that's why I'm here and any of the wonderful members. We are here to help so please ask and don't feel ashamed. Now if you want to get a taste of by far the best cloud hashing that fully supports Dash. Plus it's the only cloud hasher that actually pays you correctly if you find a block. The only place is GENESIS Mining. I've been with them 7 months now and just bought another 1.5ths to equal a total of 4.7ths with them. I have received payments every day without fail and it is extremely accurate. Also they just got full approval for adding another 700 million on equipment and a beautiful building. They are truly unmatched I have coupons I would be more than happy to give anyone to save money and get their foot in the door. I have 3 X 6ths miners at home and I have yet to get them out of the boxes. Of course I'm shorting myself but I also don't have a 1300.00 electric bill a year per each one. Don't let that discourage you because that is a lot of power. I promise I will try to respond each day to this post to assist anyone with their mining needs. I just wanted to make a quick thread for miners new or experienced that us members are here as well as me and we want everyone to get the most out of this forum and make your crypto mining, should just be Dash, a fun and profitable experience. Thanks everyone and I'll talk to you soon,

I thank you for that, I am on my stupid iPhone 6 and it's doing that on its own. But thank you as I should pay closer attention. I appreciate you catching that. Thank you and if you need any help let me know.

There it's fixed. I don't know why I'm on this stupid iPhone when I have two tablets and my laptop directly in front of me.

To me it's not clear what the goal of the article above is. Do you want to help people mining at home, or explaining them the benefits of cloud mining? How does the latter relate to Dash, if you are strictly talking about Genesis mining?

You say "I have 3 X 6ths miners at home and I have yet to get them out of the boxes", but at the same time you are buying cloud mining services. "Of course I'm shorting myself but I also don't have a 1300.00 electric bill a year per each one. " Could you please detail the calculations behind this? I'm eager to see how cloud mining can be more cost-effective in case you already have latest generation mining hardware in your basement.

Either you need. If you need help setting up I was just telling you I've been mining for a long time but also I don't want anyone to be taken like others have recently been scammed by cointellect all the way back to PB mining. So I was just offering advice and help at any time. I know you two that have made comments, don't know me yet as right when the Ambassador members were getting put together, my mother found out she had an aggressive and deep for of skin cancer and to make things worse she is blind. So I had to leave immediately to give them assistance until two days ago when we found out she is free from cancer at the moment. Then I drove straight through to Michigan and started posting a few things. So I apologize if I may have slipped up in a couple areas or wasn't clear. I was just excited to be back home and back my daily life as I missed so much, please accept my apologies.

I can tell you exactly That one Uranus 6ths miner will run you 1300.00 per year IF you are using
2 X850 watt power supplies at minimum, and you may fair better with 2 X 1000 watt power supplies except those in particular miners hash better and more efficient if very slightly underclocked. So with the 1000watt supplies you may not go by that logic as that's 95% of the time the logic and proper way to safely pick up a bit extra. And I'm calculating the electricity at 1.4. That's on the cheaper side as many of my friends are at 1.7. I did not want you to think I am not using them as they will be up and hashing tomorrow, Saturday and the last one Sunday. Also I guess I wasn't clear because I sold basically the same powered and hash rated spondollies for these so I suppose I could be a tad off but those dollies ran right up to 1265.00 per year on average and they are the most power efficient miners available, again that is how you run your equipment. And like I said I just don't want anyone being taken for cash as many cloud hashing companies are not set up for the huge spike in people buying contracts. I'm sorry I seemed to bother some with this thread but I was just slowly looking at threads and comments from people that just signed up and wanted to help. Those that do know me I'm a committee member of the Bitcoin foundation and you will never see me in bitcointalk because they can be so negative and doe are mean to people that don't have the experience. Before I wrote this post I was just talking to Another Ambassador member saying I would like to make a change from that mentality. Sorry this was so long and that I hit on three topics in one. I hope this information helped you and if not just ask me a new questions.

No need to be sorry, I just wanted to make sure what this thread is about. To be honest I still don't know :) All I could distill was that many cloud mining companies are not prepared for spikes, and that cloud mining is great.

I'm not saying it's better totally because you have to rely on another company. However with mining yourself you have all the extras PLUS what if a 3,500.00 miner burns out. There's good, bad and indifferent to each one. I've been mining on my own for so long that I guess for me when I first started cloud mining it was nice, I had nothing to worry about. If I was optimally setting up I would most likely run 2 of my miners and jump the cloud another 1.4ths To have 6ths up there as I think that would yield the most profit. But I don't know exactly. I mean the cloud doesn't have pool fees that's equates to Another $100 a year plus I never factored in hosting as an good friend and I own a huge server system and hosting costs me nothing. Believe me I've only gotten a little under a year of personal cloud mining versus 4 years of mining on my own behalf. My business partner and I used to offer cloud mining contracts only to the roughly 1500 crypto members that belong to our community/forum/development platform that is open to anyone that is s active member. And we stopped because the prices in cloud hashing is so competitive and if something happened to a blade/panel or 1 of the 82 server cabinets we would have lost all that money fixing it. Last thing I failed to mention unlike all the other cloud hashers GENESIS is contracted to you for life. Which is pretty nice and unheard of. I have to run and do a few things but I your next reply tell me you experience with mining. Thanks for the questions and I'm sorry I have to step out for a short bit. I hope this starts to help you at some point because that was what I wanted to do. But never stop asking until you are confident you know what you needed to know. Thank you
