eDigiCash Express is a hosted Crypto-Currency Payment Gateway that allows merchants to accept payments in Bitcoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Darkcoin, Dogecoin and Vertcoin.
No Registration Required
There is no registration or verification process. The only requirement is to generate an API ID and an API Key directly on our website. The procedure takes a few seconds and no personal information is required. The keys are solely used to secure data transfers between the merchant site and the eDigiCash gateway.
How it Works
The website itself is available in English, German and French.
Test / Production Environments
To make implementation easy, merchants can switch between Test and Production environments by simply changing a HTML parameter.
API
Besides plain HTML, PHP and Java/JSP developers can use API libraries to programmatically generate HTML forms and Payment Links.
Shopping cart payment modules will be available soon.

How it Works
- The merchant sends invoices to the gateway. Amounts can be denominated in 63 currencies (USD, EUR, etc.).
- Payment requests are sent from the merchant's site (HTML form with a “Pay Now” button) or by clicking embedded links in emails.
- When a request is received by the gateway, the amount is automatically converted to the desired cryptocurrencies and a payment page is presented to the buyer.
- The buyer selects a payment method (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Darkcoin, etc.) and sends the payment to a one-time temporary address managed by the eDigiCash gateway.
- As soon as the transaction is confirmed, the payment is forwarded to the merchant's wallet after deduction of the commission (0.5%). In parallel, IPN notifications are sent to the merchant site (if so configured).
- The buyer is then redirected to a "Thank you" page, which is either a standard page or a customized page on the merchant's website.
