Doubt with the PC Core dash wallet

hello and greetings have all, help me with a question with the dash core purse for pc

my pc had a virus attack and it stopped working and for the same reason it had to be formatted, now my problem is that it will happen with the balance of my purse download and intalo the wallet would be lost or when installing the wallet my normal balance remains

all you need (your coins "live" in) the Wallet.dat file !
the program itself is not important - but - the wallet.dat file is !!
back that up before formatting computer !!

thanks I'm looking in the backup but I do not get any file with wallet.data in dashcore one but only says wallet

that “wallet”
is a .dat file
