Create new wallet upon masternode update ?

Hi,

I suspect I've been making much more work for myself than is necessary...
Everytime I find my masternode not workig anymore i tend to send all my coins to another wallet,
then send 1000 of them to another new wallet I create with a fresh 0 address...
then I go into the .config file & update with the new info.
It's kind of tedious...
I'm assuming there is an easier way to do this ?
Could someone let me know

(the reason I assume I need to do this is because as I understand it, a masternode can only be activated if address 0 has exactly 1000 coins in it, as a masternode operates it quickly receives payments & then that address can't be activated anymore... Is this correct?)

whow, yes you definitely overdid it (and overworked yourself).
You just have to update, not reinstall !

I thought my update was a tad complicated...
Does the update also work if a MN is down for some days ?
I've gotten errors in the past when trying to restart my MN which is what led me to do this the loooooong way...

please make sure you are on the latest version (25)
if you have any specific MN tech probs, post the details here and somebody sure will answer them
