Hello everyone,
This message is not just a repetition of previous funding requests, but a clear update on ongoing, tangible projects that are at serious risk of remaining unfinished without support.
As many of you know, Dash Italia's proposal has been defunded for a couple of months now, and we fully understand that current Superblock priorities are different.
Despite this, I've continued to carry forward the daily work (weekends included), thanks in part to generous donations from the community – which I deeply appreciate.
As previously stated, I only started requesting funding officially after nearly two years of behind-the-scenes work: organizing tools, materials, and strategy.
The proposal covers only about a third of the actual costs of running this full-time. I accepted this at first to get things moving, but now I’m at a crossroads – either I secure minimum support, or some activities will have to be paused or scaled down.

I’d like to present three important ongoing projects that have never been promoted before, as I usually prefer announcing only when things are finished:
This is a 38,000+ word novel (about 3 hours of reading), combining storytelling with civic education, economic reflection, decentralized philosophy, and a practical vision of how Dash can be a real tool for building sovereign, local, and resilient communities.
It takes the reader on three symbolic journeys – through the Amazon, the Congo, and Las Vegas – before envisioning a new, borderless, decentralized currency: Dash, with a concrete example of how the Evolution project can be an alternative to governments.
The idea is to release it for free in both Italian and English, available online or via email in PDF/ePub formats.
While the writing is done, the final proofreading and layout phase still requires several days of focused work.
A recent survey across various local chats showed that over 30 people are interested in meeting to discuss Dash, decentralization, local economies, and personal sovereignty.
I’m working on organizing a small but meaningful offline meetup – with the help of a known community member offering a venue – to expand the network of local businesses that accept Dash as direct payment, through trust and collaboration.
Although informal, organizing such an event takes time and resources to prepare materials and ensure everything runs smoothly.
I've partnered with a local company to create Dash-branded clothing (t-shirts, polos, hats and a wide range of sportswear) with high-quality materials and no minimum quantity limits.
The idea is to give the Italian and potentially international community quality items with the new Dash logo, enhancing brand presence and supporting future events.
I'm currently testing a few items myself to verify quality and costs. While the supplier doesn’t accept crypto, I plan to act as an intermediary and offer purchases via Dash.
This initiative has strong potential but needs time and a small starting budget to launch.
It’s never easy to ask for support – especially more than once – but this isn’t a general request: it’s tied to concrete, ongoing projects with real impact.

- ≈56.65 Dash are an additional symbolic integration meant to compensate for the halving of Dash’s market value since January, when the proposal was approved. This is not a reimbursement, but a two-month-only adjustment aimed at mitigating the economic impact of such volatility, especially for full-time efforts operating under minimal sustainability.
- Finally, the remaining ≈56.65 Dash would help cover one extra month of activity, allowing time to complete the current projects (publishing the book, organizing the live meetup, and launching the merchandising initiative).
