    Dash google trouble

That's true, the term is unsearchable. I wanted to post about this before, but I thought not to just write about problems.

There goes Australia ... but then ....

    > Does a country really want to miss out on the potential economic benefits and growth from being an early adopter of virtual currencies, eh? Sub-Ether, who is a country? It's the police, bankers, government, cryptocurrency fans, etc. You may benefit from being an early adopter, but your local...

Can you think of a project to fund ?

This is a good idea, to create a bounty for security bugs or speed up security audit if necessary. fible1: I wonder if 2FA could be done in a modular way which could be used by different software packages.

There goes Australia ... but then ....

Banks are not in the mining business. But they might run some key nodes in a PoS type (or mixed) of blockchain if they have to. I don't think they want to be in the PoW mining business. I agree this is good publicity and the adoption will grow, but bitcoin will have a large overhead in terms of...

    Pre-Proposal Discussion - OpenBazaar / Dash Integration

Presumably the idea or advantage is to improve OB's anonymity or privacy, which makes me wonder why have junior dev in charge of something like that. In that regard Dash is different from other coins. For some random coin, it'd be enough to work (and supposedly have some strengths over BTC). But...

I have a feeling this topic might be controversial, but here goes... (we NEED DNM adoption NOW)

It seems there are 2 markets that accept Dash (see https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3ojjkq/can_someone_help_me_understand_the_claims_of/) now. I haven't verified this personally, but if true that would be awesome news! DrDeepweb saw you scored 5 upvotes there :-)

Can you think of a project to fund ?

I'm sorry but this is a really bad idea. If the coins get destroyed (is that what happens? hmmm), then so be it. Every holder ends up having a larger portion of the total. That's exactly how it should be. In case unused coins don't get destroyed, then the unspent coins should be paid out to all...

    Pre-Proposal Discussion - OpenBazaar / Dash Integration

No, you just pay "offline" so to speak, outside of OB. For example I sell a T-Shirt, and quote price as 10 Dash and 0.0001 BTC. Now, buyers would have to be really careful to read product description to see the price is not *just* 0.0001 BTC, but also 10 Dash (which would be prominently...

    Pre-Proposal Discussion - OpenBazaar / Dash Integration

It's not only that, although this multisig capability would be used - there are also various other places where there are no DASH equivalents, for example their integration with Onename. Without a BTC address, that chunk of functionality would be lacking. akhavr: "I've checked OpenBazaar and...

    Trezor for Darkcoin

Hmm, you should execute the build script, not type $FIRMWARE or such (assuming you want to use 1.3.0): ./firmware-docker-build.sh v1.3.0 Then if the process doesn't crap out you should have a new file somewhere in there.

    Pre-Proposal Discussion - OpenBazaar / Dash Integration

The biggest stumbling block is that OB currently relies on bitcoin for multisig payments/deposits. You could use Dash without integration, by specifying that payment must be made in Dash, except for the tiny amount required for multisig parts. It wouldn't be smooth but it can work as is, I believe.

Is the new budget system driving down the price of DASH?

Like economists have a clue. Look at the fools at the Fed. There's no conspiracy. In order to dump Dash, you need to buy it first.

Is the new budget system driving down the price of DASH?

Going down by few percent over a period of several weeks. How does it matter?

I have a feeling this topic might be controversial, but here goes... (we NEED DNM adoption NOW)

Looking at daily turnover of dash at cryptoexchanges, iti doesn't seem like it "owns" the darknets. It's a non-controversial topic as far as "positioning" is concerned. No one here is calling for official assistance with promotion or anything like that. It's about if you're interested to help...

Someone to rewrite Slovak translations to Czech?

I don't know the languages (except English) but if it's possible it may be easier to export ENG-Slovak and import it as ENG-Czech and then change the strings.

Some recent market size info: http://cointelegraph.com/news/115355/the-dark-web-a-closer-look-at-the-worlds-largest-bitcoin-economy It seems that surveillance equipment is one of seemingly legal categories (as far as buying and selling is concerned) mentioned in the article.

I'm all for that. Just saying as a registered business, you're on the hook and under the microscope.

There goes Australia ... but then ....

F From the second article: > "I can't open or hold any accounts with those institutions because I deal with Bitcoin," she said. Most likely not for competitive reasons, but because of the idiotic AML and other rules. If you're a bank, having a BTC trader for a customer is simply too much...

    Enhanced Darkcoin Wallet UI

The more stuff one pulls from the web the less private the s/w is. It would be nice if it were possible to disable all external sources in Settings > Privacy.

    Retail adoption for DASH.

I think governments won't be too enthusiastic to legalize the use of private cryptocurrencies. If you look at bitcon's history it's difficult enough, and it's not even anonymous. Shadow economy is huge and users need anonymity and convenience. The participants are regular citizens who like...
