I installed the RC5 wallet (the one with darksend), saw the warning, but also saw all my coins in the wallet. Then I sent my coins to an exchange. I was hoping to then create a new wallet and import the addresses and privkeys from the old wallet.dat but now I don't see that option.
Is there some way I can keep my addresses and private keys from the old wallet? I'm expecting someone to eventually pay me for something to some of them.
Is this suitable for desktop PCs that are not running masternodes?
Is this now open-source? I don't want to be running a closed-source wallet.

When I send a bank transfer, I have the option to specify a reference code, so that the receiving party knows who I am and what the money is for. For instance, when sending money to my exchange, I have to use a reference code to associate the money I'm sending with my exchange account.
