I still use darkcoin in my app's package id!
My Dash Wallet for Android is also free (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hashengineering.darkcoin.wallet) and the private keys stay on your device. Be sure to backup.
An update is underway to bring Bitcoin Wallet 5.14 bug fixes to Dash Wallet. This will require much testing (first on testnet) and also translation of about 40 extra texts.
An update was posted this week that solves the crashing issue of restoring a wallet on a fresh install of the app on Android 6 or higher devices.
There is a problem though with users not being able to send coins. The issue seems to be a result of network connectivity. Some of the DNS seeds...
@Iban - glad you got it working. Sorry we weren't of more help. Somehow we didn't seem to receive any emails.
This issue wasn't related to the 12.1 upgrade after all.
sorry for the late reply. My email is [email protected].
Here are a list of nodes that could be input as a Trusted Peer.

Yes, you can go to Settings | Settings to add a Trusted Peer. Let me check for emails. [EDIT: Did not receive any emails.]
So, the sync process requires a connection to the Dash Network as well, so you balance will appear as Zero (0) until it syncs with the Dash Blockchain.
There currently...
This problem usually happens when connectivity between the app and the Dash Network is lost or there are less than 5 peers connected. However it is possible that there is another cause. This recent update did include a better peer list for connectivity than the previous version.

The latest update will deactivate InstantSend on the Send Coins screen until it is once again activated on the Dash Network.

Additionally, this update has been posted to Google Play.
The most recent update to the testnet version should have better connectivity to the testnet nodes. Some users experienced stuck transactions due to insufficient peers.

I have posted new APK for testing. This one works on testnet, so it should work on mainnet with InstantSend is activated.

Thanks for testing. In the new APK (link in OP) we fixed the issue of InstantSend Fee's.
The code already checks for 100 inputs, though there is no error message set up for it.
After several hours of work, InstantSend is working again on the testnet app, so there is a good chance it will work on mainnet once InstantSend is activated again.
Looks like I got ahead of the game. InstantSend will need some work in this new version of the app before it will work. Hopefully this will be done soon.
This topic will be about the Android wallet for Dash called Dash Wallet. It supports Dash 12.1.
History:
This is the 12.1 version of the MainNet wallet. It is based on the testnet version, which was working well.
Some updates were made compared to the previous version 4.65.12E (for Dash...
We will find out tomorrow.
The Dash Wallet app currently is 12.0. The best case is that everything will work fine. If not, then InstantSend will not work (for sending or receiving). Worst case is that the app is completely dead because it cannot connect to the Dash Network. It will be fixed...
This could be what was seen in other testing recently. The app may have only been connected to 4 nodes, but it requires 5 to send the transaction. Logs would indicate show if this was the case.
