Which masternodes voted and what exactly voted on various proposals.

UPDATE - It now works and pulls in 179,000 votes+. The problem is that it's not pulling in the vote hash or the masternode IP or anything else especially useful. Looks like the methods in Sentinel really are designed just to let it do its job. Going to take some more modifications to get it...

Which masternodes voted and what exactly voted on various proposals.

Just spent a while looking through sentinel code. It would appear that despite having a table called votes, the only ones that it puts in there are votes that the masternode has voted on. It might be possible to modify it further to pull in all votes though.

Which masternodes voted and what exactly voted on various proposals.

So while I believe my core client is fully synced, it's still not pulling votes correctly into the Sentinel DB yet. 2018-01-09 23:46:37 CGovernanceManager::UpdateCachesAndClean -- Governance Objects: 221 (Proposals: 220, Triggers: 0, Watchdogs: 1/1, Other: 0; Erased: 20), Votes: 395474 Going...

I went ahead and made the changes to Sentinel that allow it to be run without a masternode. Here's a link to my fork - https://github.com/jhodges10/sentinel

    DASH Selling/Marketing idea

I wouldn't really call it efficiency per say. The only reason we're not using as much power as Bitcoin is because there's less equipment mining Dash. If a piece of equipment uses 1200W (Antminer D3), it's the same as an Antminer S9+ that uses 1200W. Only difference being the number of machines...

Dash Needs to Move to Proof Of Stake

Before you reinvent the wheel, check the road map. Collateralized mining (kind of like PoS) is coming. In the meantime, it sounds like your only reason to rush to put together an announcement that we're moving to PoS is only to get a price bump. https://www.dash.org/2017/06/27/roadmap.html...

Pre-proposal: Introducing Dash to the international Robotics/STEM community.

As a former FIRST competitor myself, this is awesome to see!! Hope it passes. ^^ This is a pretty cool idea and should technically be possible using something like the Dash Graffiti Generator - https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/dash-graffiti-generator.15644/ I'm not sure if Instantsend locks...

What is up with the CoPay wallet?

Yes it's obviously that and not any other possibility... /s I've been playing with it for a few days already and it works fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Stupid Developer Slaves. The budget full of advertising, but they keep working.

Many of these things coming in the future. Evan has spoken more than once about sub-DAOs and Evo will provide for more layers of governance that will enable advanced features of decentralized governance by blockchain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    MasterNode Scaling...

From their wiki page, Within its global network, Hurricane Electric is connected to more than 156 major exchange points[8][9] and exchanges IP traffic directly with more than 6,750 different networks.[10] According to European Internet Exchange Association (Euro-IX), Hurricane Electric ranks...

I can all but guarantee that there are enough MNOs that don't want this - that you'll see more and more ways of obfuscation before you can prove who owns what. Even Dash Masternode Tool has built in vote obfuscation for those with multiple nodes. Any effort you put into this will be rendered...

Dude you comment on literally everything in these forums and yet don't even know what's in the roadmap for Dash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Yah I'm well aware that this can be done. Just not entirely convinced of the benefits other than because you can. I disagree with the idea of confiscating funds from people who you disagree with, or who someone decides isn't benefitting the network. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Too true. I've got big plans for next year once the DAPI starts rolling out. Just not worth the effort of doing stuff with Dash in its current state when all of it will be rendered obsolete very soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

[dashninja.pl] Dash Masternode Ninja - Free Masternode Monitoring

Did you take into account the fact that votes can be changed by the people casting them? I could see there be a discrepancy if you don't account for that and elbereth does.

Which masternodes voted and what exactly voted on various proposals.

The way in which masternodes are designed, there doesn't seem to be any reasoning or code behind making nodes universally identifiable. There are tons of reasons why IP addresses could change and output hashes could change. Everything from a dynamic IP address to a change in hosting...

Sub-dao, voter delegation, or lowering the proposal fee. Best scaling options?

No way to put a poll in unless it's a new thread.
