It is infeasible for MN owners to decide this. I would say at least 40% of Masternodes are managed by a few individuals (5-10) so it isn't like 2000 votes being cast. Also, there isn't a communication system to inform MN owners of a vote or change or whatever, so it would take months to organize...

I'm glad we can have a mature discussion Tao :) I appreciate your efforts spreading Darkcoin. You said that "NOWHERE did I say it was a done deal". This is true, however, on your Twitter you have started using #DASH and have tweets such as, "Total number of #DASH Masternodes: 2311. Big...

    Help translating the darkcoin core

When you say recreated, do you mean recreated from scratch or do you have the translations you can re-add to transifex?

So I read through some more discussion on the events around the name change and updated my initial post on this topic above. Here is my edit: I found a post on BTC that clears up some of my misconceptions about the decisions made...

Tao, my main issue is that you are very quick to push PR for DASH before it is OFFICIAL. This isn't necessarily about whether DASH is a good name, it is about timing. I would hate to see you jump the gun on PR for a name that may not be. There would be pushback from those outside the community...

Listen to youself. Calling it DASH before the final decision is going to make people think this is a unilateral decision more so than they already think!

EDIT: I found a post on BTC that clears up some of my misconceptions about the decisions made. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg10726461#msg10726461 I still feel like this could have been done better and it seems that some of the foundation are admitting that and apologizing...

    Android Wallet v4

Appreciate you guys taking to the time to make this wallet. You make apps to support many different coins and I'm happy you chose DRK as one of the ones you keep up with.

    v0.11.1 - InstantX Release

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It seems like someone who knows enough to muddle around in the code for defects, but just wants to take down other coins (except the ones they invested in) rather than help the cryptocurrency community as a whole.

Masternode started remotely but nothing from hotcold or ip grep

Hey Stray, try this if it still doesn't work: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/v0-11-1-instantx-release.3923/page-4#post-41655

    v0.11.1 - InstantX Release

I figured out my issue. My masternodeprivkey changed. Here are the steps to fix: 1. Open wallet with your 1,000 DRK 2. Unlock wallet 3. Open Debug Console -> enter "masternode genkey" 4. Copy that key into your darkcoin.conf and/or masternode.conf files on BOTH your 1000 DRK wallet and your...

    v0.11.1 - InstantX Release

When was the last protocol update? I was able to just restart darkcoind rather than starting my MN from the wallet although it seems like I should have started from the wallet.

    v0.11.1.x InstantX Testing

I'd be happy to help testnet mine. Is there a guide on mining testnet? I'll also start up my testnet masternode in a few minutes.

python-darkcoinrpc: JSON RPC library for darkcoin daemon.

Thanks! Although I currently have no use for this, I can definitely see future applications utilizing RPC more and more.

We want to accept darkcoin payments, how to?

From what I understand CoinPayments is one of the options that takes the least amount of information from you when signing up and their fees are fair. Obviously the cheapest way to accept DRK on your site is setting up your own wallet or building your own app that takes DRK. Good luck...
