Encrypted Messaging App Telegram Hits 100m Monthly Active Users, 350k New Users Each Day

I think that end-to-end encryption seems very reliable and I think it's impossible to hack it and steal any information.

Expiring Text Messages ? (Double secure for the paranoid ; )

Telegram stores everything! I can tell you more - the developers have an access to all the information. Users can erase the story on their devices but it will be still stored on the server.

BATTLE OF THE SECURE MESSAGING APPS: HOW SIGNAL BEATS WHATSAPP

I'm watching after new messengers and check some of them that seem the most interesting and suitable for me. It's just hard to choose the best one as there are plenty of them and mostly offer nothing really interesting.

How To See If Your VPN Is Leaking Your IP Address (And How To Stop It)

But the point is that some VPN don't leak you address all the time and it's pointless to use checkmyip as then I have to check it every minute..

BATTLE OF THE SECURE MESSAGING APPS: HOW SIGNAL BEATS WHATSAPP

It's totally NOT secured! And you can't compare them. There are messengers even better than Signal is. And I don't know what is worse than Telegram.. Maybe Skype only.

Encrypted Messaging App Telegram Hits 100m Monthly Active Users, 350k New Users Each Day

You're wrong. It has issues with everything now. Add its instability and voila - it's time to look for something more reliable.

We've already lost the war on privacy. Here's why you should still care.

I think it's possible to hack everything! It just needs time for hackers to find loops. Hope that I'm wrong and you're right. How can anyone steal data if it's not stored on any server.

Expiring Text Messages ? (Double secure for the paranoid ; )

In some of them you can choose the period of time. For example Dust erases everything in 24 hours. But it's not very useful as you probably can't choose the exact dialogues to erase or not.

Encrypted Messaging App Telegram Hits 100m Monthly Active Users, 350k New Users Each Day

Why do everyone call Telegram encrypted messenger?? It's not encrypted at all. The developers have no access to secret chats only and it's possible to create a secret chat using iOS version of an app. No desktop or android version support secret chats. Moreover developers announced that they're...

TOR Anonymity: Things Not To Do While Using TOR

Interesting list of warnings, but I hope people understand it themselves. As if you enter the same account from Tor and from Chrome for example there's no need using Tor ass you'll show your real location and that all become useless.

Expiring Text Messages ? (Double secure for the paranoid ; )

I found out that more and more encrypted messengers started to erase message history in 24 hours and stopped to store it anywhere. From one point of view it's a big step to privacy, but on the other hand it's not very convenient as I need some conversations to be stored, but securely stored. For...

And what if I will not fill it in because I don't have any social media accounts and then they will find out that I lied. Will it be the problem?

BATTLE OF THE SECURE MESSAGING APPS: HOW SIGNAL BEATS WHATSAPP

But even Signal is not the best one these days. Blockchain based messengers become more and more popular as they don't have access to any of your data and they don't store anything on a server. The connection is end-to-end encrypted and even developers don't have an access to your correspondence.

How To See If Your VPN Is Leaking Your IP Address (And How To Stop It)

And how can I know if VPN has better encryption than the previous one? All of them promise a good service and then it turns out that IP is still leaking.

Anonymous Searching ? Bye Bye Google ; )

And Google doesn't provide any anonymity at all as I think. I hope some people will produce something for anonymous browsing soon.

Even if such networks will appear I don't think that government will let it be. They force everyone to collect the users data in order to find terrorists and other criminals. So I think they will block such services.

Best Alternatives to Tor Browser to Browse Anonymously

I've never heard about other browsers like Tor in order to browse anonymously. I use Tor for a long time and very happy with that, so I had no reasons to look for something else. Are they better than Tor?

    Social Network with End-To-End-Encryption

So your network would not collect any information? And what about registration? What information do you need for that? Email or phone or what? If it doesn't require any personal information for registration then it seems to be really good.
