Pre-Proposal: Solving the 'Free Money' treasury problem

https://ethics.theamericancollege.edu/library/news/everyday-ethics-%E2%80%93-what-if-everybody-did Forro, What if every shadowy anon created a decision proposal to change our reward structure? Would that be a good thing? IMHO we need to wait a bit and see what DCG thinks is the best course of...

Pre-Proposal: Solving the 'Free Money' treasury problem

According to Google, unless it's your own proposal you're not interested.

Pre-Proposal: Solving the 'Free Money' treasury problem

You should have told us whether you supported either plan. This is what you're so passionate about. IMHO your only interest is in hijacking the debate.

Pre-Proposal: Solving the 'Free Money' treasury problem

Forro, You did not comment on DashCentral on the MNO proposal. You did not comment on DashCentral on the DCG proposal. You did not comment on DashCentral on the DCG proposal when it was resubmitted. How can we take you seriously?

Hello: I'm Darren Tapp (汤德润) a DIF Supervisor.

IF the DIF supervisors have carte blanche to spend the DAO's money, I don't think you have to worry about not having enough applicants.

Hello: I'm Darren Tapp (汤德润) a DIF Supervisor.

I see from your blog that you have taken the training wheels off and are now going to invest without input from the DAO. That's your prerogative. It was my hope that you would seek approval from the DAO for illiquid investments and rely upon a professional Investment Manager for your liquid...

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

OF course Demo you have to make a meta-comment. You can't comment on the actual proposal. That would be beneath you.

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

I have a new theory that is grounded in SCIENCE! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5146206/ People become risk-averse when they're stressed. This whole proposal is about risk and reward. People are overweighing the potential risks of the plan due to the stress of the pandemic and...

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

It looks like the nerd herd does not want to give up the prerogative of spending other people's money. How weird is that? They could take possession of the same money and then spend it but no. Let's go over their possible reasons for no votes... 1 - They don't understand the proposal. 2 - Voted...

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

The proposal if implemented will help prevent wasteful spending because it will come out of our pockets. How many votes do you have? Would you please go on DC and recant and tell everyone how you've seen the light and want the proposal to pass?

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

We need to kill more. The history of our treasury can be summed up with the following slogan... Funding products no one needed that never arrived.

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

(copied from DashCentral) If you think about it, the way the DAO works now, where MNOs give out funds that don't cost them anything, but which are in fact a tax upon every Dash hodler, it's a bit pompous and a bit corrupt. IT'S NO BETTER THAN HOW THE THE US CONGRESS WORKS. And this is probably...

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

I would like them to tell us if they support the DCG proposal or not. And why.

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

No comment from Rion or Hilawe yet regarding the DCG proposal. I suppose my intuition was correct that these two are more interested in opposing DCG than in anything else. The good thing about being a cynic is that you're so rarely disappointed in people.

Proposal: Earn Dash Interest on Your Savings

Are you aware of the Dash Investment Foundation (DIF)... https://www.dashinvests.org/ Have you approached the DIF supervisors regarding possibly funding this through the foundation rather than directly through the Dash treasury?

Proposal: Earn Dash Interest on Your Savings

1 - How many people have signed up for Genitrust? 2 - How many are non-zero, and what are the average, median, and aggregate amount of funds held in these accounts?

Proposal: Earn Dash Interest on Your Savings

How many people have signed up for Genitrust? How many have non-zero balances? If this is a startup operation, it would probably be best to have the Dash Investment Foundation handle it.

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

I hope you understand that it's not practical for several hundred MNOs to design by committee a proposal of this nature. We need leadership, and DCG is providing that leadership.

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

Pre-discussion? Where have you been? We have been discussing this since June... https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/dash-economics-discussion-series.50278/#post-222407 And we have had almost a month's worth of discussions here since both proposals were created.

Decision Proposal: Increase Proposal System Flexibility & Efficiency

Originally there was not going to be two phases. Originally there was just going to be the DCG proposal to consider, but several MNOs got together and cobbled together an alternate plan. Are you going to criticize DCG for graciously accommodating this group?
