    Rebranding and Scalability

As much as evan is amazing, I don't think we need another cult of personality. I think the coin needs to remain humble, Evan will be honored years down the road.

I also think that when we sell this to merchants, we should sell it as Digital Cash, not Dash, Dash would just be the abbreviation like when someone asks a merchant: "Do you take Dash?"

    Rebranding and Scalability

I think it will be hard for any other coin to get the current masternode network. Most people who invest in a masternode would quickly realize that the other coin is a scam.

I follow that thread Moli thanks (I'm a big time lurker), my question was more about incorporating it on the masternode level, not just as extra electrum servers.

I think Dash is a great name. For those attached to the Darkcoin name, don't forget we can still call a single coin a Darkcoin. Just like a dollar can be called a buck. I don't think we should completely forgo our journey up till now (but keep the Darkcoin name hidden). We do need to realize...

    v0.11.1 - InstantX Release

It would be very interesting knowing how often IX works as a %. I just did it and it failed. I really hope we can get it to at least over 98%. Does it have anything to do with the byte size of the transaction? My last transaction had a lot of inputs. Does IX only work with anonymized funds?

    Darkcoin Fork in The Road

    Finally a use for namecoin?

I was wondering if down the road anyone gave any thought about forking namecoin and using it for addressing on DarkTor/Masternet. Actually are there any plans to support hidden services at this point like TOR has with .onion?

How could we make DarkTor profitable for people using amazon EC2?

Ok, lets say we all switch to servers where we don't pay for bandwidth. Since the number of masternodes has a maximum at any time, so would the available throughput of the DarkTor. Does no one else think this is an issue?

How could we make DarkTor profitable for people using amazon EC2?

EC2 bandwidth was only one of the issues I was thinking of, maybe my original post was poorly constructed. If we don't put a bandwidth restriction, what is to stop people from quenching the servers to prevent the system from working? Any government could do this. Plus so many people would...

    Development Update - August 19, 2014

I wrote an idea I had about how to include a bandwidth cap so it doesn't ruin people running an EC2. https://darkcointalk.org/threads/how-could-we-make-darktor-profitable-for-people-using-amazon-ec2.2089/

How could we make DarkTor profitable for people using amazon EC2?

From reactions I have seen a lot of people are afraid about high EC2 bills (as am I). A pay per day system could work, but I propose that a bandwidth cap be installed. For example 50c = 1 day and up to 100mb (using 8 nodes). Why 100mb? Well because 100mb going through 8 nodes is 800mb and...
