how to start MN from local wallet ??

I think the correct command is this: masternode start-alias YOURMASTERNODEALIAS YOURWALLETPASSWORD Got it from here: https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1867877

"Failed to Load masternode cache from nmcache.dat"

Actually, all you had to do is delete the mncache.dat file (and maybe some other dat files, but NOT wallet.dat). Then it will (probably) work and you won't need to reinstall anything. See this thread: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/unable-to-start-12-1-wallet.13028/

So, you want to take a disruptive privacy-centric cryptocoin and identify and register the people that run it? So that you can join the revolution?

    HD crashed, lost Dash Core

@Nils No, you need those addresses' private keys. They reside in the wallet.dat file that was in your HD and that you should have backed up.

Dash Core Team Q4 2016 Summary Call

The only thing "the treasury" can do is distribute money. All the other things must be done by people. I don't see why would someone hired from the blockchain would perform any better than existing or future masternode providers. And since a masternodes' profit pays for itself, it's not like...

How does Dash handle disputes between miners and masternodes?

Right now the devs control the switch, but 12.1 upgraded the governance system so that those kind of controls could be handed to the masternodes in the future.

How does Dash handle disputes between miners and masternodes?

The masternode tier can reject the blocks that don't conform. Any fraction of miners that did upgrade would get all the block rewards.

    Hey, read this.

Maybe people should learn how to ask questions? http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html (and it wouldn't be that bad if they could learn how to title a topic? :))

There is your problem, the port number needs to be there. For example: externalip=190.1.2.3:9999

    DASH Car - Pre-Pre-Proprosal

I like the idea, but we don't know your car usage patterns. And US$1000 seems like a bit on the expensive side (but we are passing so many questionable proposals that I'm not sure it's such a problem anymore). Maybe if you planned an advertising campaign to make cheap (~US$50) rear window...

@demo We are not outsourcing anything. We are subsidizing a firm that already provides crypto-related services to integrate Dash so it becomes available to their userbase. It will be a nudge towards solving the chicken-and-egg adoption problem. Most businesses don't want to deal with...

I don't feel the need to justify the existence of masternodes. I vote for what adds value to Dash. (and no, even if 99% of users use blockcypher, the masternodes won't become useless)

Let me see if I understood your question: When blockcypher integration is complete, and our DAPI is also functional, how many dash users will use native instantsend instead of blockcypher's implementation. Is that correct? As long as they are using Dash, I don't care if they prefer to use a...

    Nothing.

It's not a substitute, it's an option businesses will have, should they adopt Dash. Our DAPI isn't ready yet.
