    v12.2 Testing

Yup! Helps a bunch. Maybe I will do some digging. Definitely makes it much more usable. Thanks.

    v12.2 Testing

Fonts. The GUI wallet's fonts, at least on my Fedora machine, are always too big or too small ... this has been an annoyance for quite some time. Anyone else have these issues as well? Or is this isolated to my builds. Regardless, if someone can point to me where fonts are managed in the code...

    Version 12.2 release

Dash Core packages for Fedora, CentOS and RHEL updated to 12.2 (and 1.1 for Sentinel) If you don't know what I am talking about, this message likely doesn't apply to you. WARNING (Masternode people): Ideally only update after your masternode has recently distributed a payment because you have...

    v12.2 Testing

I would agree. Bug. There shouldn't be any whitespace allowed pre- or post-. Input coding 101. And the C-code and Python-code had better violently agree. Mind you, if the bug resides in the Bitcoin code, that's where it should be fixed and then carried forward, IMHO. But, demo, your...

Masternode Operators: Sentinel Hotfix (Action Required)

Note: For those running a masternode on Fedora, CentOS or RHEL and deploy the software via my repos -- ie: https://github.com/taw00/dashcore-rpm -- simply log onto your masternode server and type sudo dnf upgrade dashcore-sentinel -y and you are done.

    v12.2 Testing

Turns out you are wrong. Somewhat. Yes, Sentinel has independent versions, but there is no guidance as what the version scheme should be for master versus next branches. The sentinel in support of v12.2 is unversioned. It will not be 1.0.2. We know this only because 1.0.1 was just updated today...

    v12.2 Testing

12.2 RPMs built for Fedora 25, 26 and EL7 -- sources here and instruction for installing the binaries for all the various configurations: https://github.com/taw00/dashcore-rpm For the binaries, they are in my testing repo. The dashcore-fedora.repo and dashcore-centos.repo yum/dnf files have...

    v12.2 Testing

Is Sentinel moving from v1.0.x to v0.12.2.x? If so, I am going to have to do some juggling to make sure the DNF/RPM package manager "does the right thing". Since 0.12.2 is < 1.0. I.e., Have we settled on a version scheme for Sentinel?

    Masternode private send mixing...

All folks know is that those 8 wallets are adding to the pool. They don't know how many others were in the pool. Could be 0 ... could be 10,000.

Hmm: I may have written a dupe: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/proposal-infrastructure-liquidity-providers-nov.11130/

    Masternode private send mixing...

Dedicated Mixers Another thought -- How performant PrivateSend mixing is, is dependent on how many other folks are mixing, correct? An idea (maybe a proposal): Can the infrastructure team maintain, say, 8 wallets (more?), with 1000 Dash each (is that enough? too much?) that never cease mixing...

    Starting a Masternode

In this movie named Dash, you are like the humorously snarky sidekick that says the craziest things just to get a rise out of the audience and serves as comic relief. Heh. That's it! You are our Jar Jar Binks, but even more of a downer. Hey, in the end, he ended up the hero, right?

    Proposal: Infrastructure - Applications (March)

All valid reasons to go with something like Slack. You kinda get married to technology choices. I would just ask that folks be open to alternatives in the future. As a community advocating open source, security, decentralization... Well, you know where I am going with that. To me it is an odd...

    Proposal: Infrastructure - Applications (March)

I will vote yes to this, but a synapse server + riot would serve the same purpose, be secure (end-to-end encryption is in beta at the moment) and you would control the server and data. Oh, and it has nice plugins to IRC, Slack, ...most things. And it is (they are) 100% open source. I have not...

Proposal: 3rd month refile: Dash for Fedora, CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Y'all accepted my proposal that was scheduled to run for 3 months and I thank you. Alas, 12.1 happened and requires me to refile for the last month, to include the filing fee again. I appreciated your support on this two months ago, and I would really appreciate if the proposal could be...

    Version 12.1 Release

Added a notice that these are unofficial builds. Which they are. As for stopping posting these things... I have been posting these builds for close to a year with encouragement from the community and, of late, patronage from the treasury. And now, today, is the day you take exception to it...

    Version 12.1 Release

[NOTE: These are semi-official builds] v0.12.1.1 tested and built for the Red Hat family of Linuxes https://github.com/taw00/dashcore-rpm A few have been testing early builds of 12.1.1 and I watched the release candidate on mainnet for a day+ before building the new production build. If you...
