12.1 Testnet Testing Phase Two Ignition

www.steemjammer.com/share/debug_log.txt I just upgraded my MNs and my wallet with the funds. My MNs were offline or else on the wrong block, so they had to be reindexed. After finishing downloading the blockchain, I issued masternode debug and both of them said the MN had started...

Ask a Question about Dash Thread

Oh, I found it by opening a dashd wallet and doing dash-cli help darksend which is weird to me, because usually in linux (admittedly I'm only familiar with Ubuntu) you would do something more like dashd-cli darksend -help - but that doesn't work here :p And to be totally honest, I only knew to...

    DashForce Presents....The Swarm: Level 1

Um, in an attempt to support ya'all, I did a #dashforce on my last long-winded comment. Hope some read and get food for thought, maybe? Bigger hope is that it's WORTHWHILE food for thought, LOL OK, now I tried tweeting about Amanda's last DashDetailed :D BTW, I'm just practicing how to use...

Ask a Question about Dash Thread

LOL, thanks Amanda. I'm afraid I'm doing too much talking but I do want people to have a place to find - sort of - the Dash POV, even if some of it's coming out as my own POV...

Ask a Question about Dash Thread

#DashForce OK, I'm going to ask another question here to myself, LOL. Should Masternodes be able to hide their location so that no government or adversary can shut it down? I'm hearing a lot about Masternodes needing to be hidden, and I guess that's because people are worried that governments...

Am I the only one who keeps losing the blockchain? https://test.explorer.dashninja.pl/chain/Dash says 115238 My windows QT wallet says I'm on 115103 My TMN1 says I'm on 115404 and my TMN2 says I'm on 115238

12.1 Testnet Testing Phase Two Ignition

You should find the debug.log in your dashcore folder, which is hidden. In linux, it's in /home/.dashcore In windows it's usually in appdata/roaming/dashcore it's generated when you start the wallet for the first time :)

12.1 Testnet Testing Phase Two Ignition

my windows wallet got stuck at 114527. Earlier today I had it all synced up. my remote dashd clients are up to date (elbereth blockchain explorer) I guess I'm curious, am I losing the blockchain at random points or are these numbers I'm throwing out coinciding with superblocks?

Ask a Question about Dash Thread

Ask a Question about Dash Thread

Oh, and 3rd finally: I think you're trying to darksend funds but don't have any mixed funds to send, and so you're getting the weird "not real" message : meaning there is no "real" number in the darksend space. So, you simply have to mix your funds first (this takes a while) and have a balance...

Ask a Question about Dash Thread

Good question! I hardly ever use the dashd command line wallet, except to run a masternode, which is very limited. This is what I get: ~/Dash Wallet$ ./dash-cli help darksend darksend <dashaddress> <amount> dashaddress, reset, or auto (AutoDenominate)<amount> is a real and will be rounded to...

12.1 Testnet Testing Phase Two Ignition

When sending coin to Wal, I just noticed that I've only been getting payments to my MN1 since the 1st of December. Then, I only got payments from MN2 for a while, like 5 payments, then only MN1 again. This doesn't seem like an average of 50/50??? What, besides getting stuck and dropping off...

12.1 Testnet Testing Phase Two Ignition

Looks like testnet is forked again. https://test.explorer.dashninja.pl/chain/Dash shows 114515 and https://test.explorer.dash.org/chain/tDash?count=100&hi=114398 shows 114398 I've just reindexed etc... and I have 114515 on masternodes and ... local win wallet still reindexing... Note, my one...

12.1 Testnet Testing Phase Two Ignition

Yes I did. I can do so again if I'm the only one with this problem?? It actually did run fine for a while. I checked it against the blockchain and it was updating and running fine until I checked on it many hours later.

I just updated a few hours ago, 2 MN one windowz desktop It got stuck againt at 114311 so I grabbed my debug from that point in time according to flare's blockexplorer and here it is: 2016-12-05 21:47:38 AdvertiseLocal: advertising address 216.45.55.232:19999 2016-12-05 21:48:01 keypool...

    We need Merchants USING Dash!

    I fully agree.

Do you think raising the vote threshold would increase masternode participation?

Basically what you are saying is that private send does not work. I disagree, and say a single round would be sufficient if you were not worried that MNs are spying on incoming IP addresses. Monero obfuscates differently but ultimately with 3 inputs just like Dash. As a price, you can't audit...

Do you think raising the vote threshold would increase masternode participation?

Agree. I think an auditable blockchain is of primary importance, even so I also agree privacy is just as important. Only Dash has a trustless way to have both. No other privacy solution has an auditable blockchain. If obscurity is what you want, use shadowcash, monero or zcash, etc... and...

Ask a Question about Dash Thread

Good question. I've been here since the beginning. I was such a newb, and trying to learn how to mine those first two days, that I was too shy to post. But somewhere around the 3rd day I started posting. Anyway, this is "the best of my knowledge" I can only tell you how I saw it unfold...

Ask a Question about Dash Thread

First Is Dash a scam? Scam definition: So with that in mind, one would have to first ask who is being swindled, cheated, etc... Anyone that spent their time mining Dash in the beginning or who bought in the beginning of Dash at the time of highest risk, if they held on to those...
