Good point about not testing the masternode payments and the odd variance. But in fairness to Evan, was that bug report on Jira before he went live with RC4? If so, then this is a legit complaint and something that shouldn't happen in the future.

Try setting the "coins to be anonymized" setting back to the default 1000 and restart the wallet.

Yeah, it was about a 4mb file, but it kept giving me "unknown server error (413)". Smaller files like the pictures worked just fine. I am out in Asia... so maybe the distance to the server and larger file size weren't playing nice.

I don't understand the concern. The issue only exists if you try to use an existing encrypted wallet.dat with V32. How would this effect paper wallets as you would have to generate a new wallet.dat (which have no reported problems) and then import your private key.

I found a bug with the new v32. Actually, it seems like a similar problem to what Camo was having on BTCtalk where the wallet hangs when splitting up funds and thus never denominates. This was on Windows 8 x64. I hope this gets fixed. :smile: Posted on Jira for the first time...

Thanks. I only posted that because Evan's post yesterday said that it wasn't a bug but people were misunderstanding how Darksend works for large wallets. Good to hear the team will take a look.

Hmm. Seems like the Darksend never finishes issue still plagues some. Camo of bitcointalk is complaining about the same. I haven't but check out post #81 above. In the worst case the number you set will lead to a few thousand more being anonymized. It is a min value not a cap.

What do you mean "got stuck"? Did you set it to 2 rounds, wait for the coins to show up as anonymized, and then switch to 3 -- or set it to 3 from the beginning and it never finishes?

I think Camosoul (bitcointalk) has already emailed Evan but more than 1 round seems to be bugged for wallets with large balances.

It can take a while to start. By the way, how have you set the "number of coins to be anonymized" setting? (In the options). Is your current anonymized balance greater than this number?
