A couple issues I see... the remote node's config is setup wrong. It's not set to masternode=1. Further, the remote node doesn't get a masternode.conf file. The masternode privkey setting goes in the remote dash.conf file structured like this...

Did you build your own wallet from source for Darkcoin and again for Dash? Just curious if it's db comparability issue that corrupted your wallet. Did you try -salvagewallet?

What was the cause of the lock up issue? Memleak? Then again, it doesn't explain the sporadic-ness of it.

Yep, a quarter of my nodes are continuing to lock up. I've given up on trying to get them to stay online until a fix is pushed.
