I get about 20 years 5 * 576 (blocks a day) * 365 = a little over a million and we have over 4 million out already so only 18 million more. I didn't take into account the 7% decline per year but I don't think it'd make a 140+ year difference.

I think it goes by 1 IP per node, even if you could do it on the same external IP you can't use the same port at the same time AFAIK and seeing how you can't change the necessary port from 9999 it's a moot point.

nope, it decreases with difficulty. If everyone stopped mining then yea but realistically no it won't. edit: Block reward is controlled by Moore's law: 2222222/(((Difficulty+2600)/9)2) I think the minimum block reward is 5 though.

One might argue that the masternodes are bad for the economy in that they will initially take many DRK out of circulation and many more through the saving of masternode payments by their owners. This could create a feedback loop where darkcoin keeps getting more and more valuable, as such...

My masternode is not showing up, even in it's own masternode list yet it said masternode started successfully. Any ideas of what happened? edit: w00t updated to 10.8.6 and it's found.

I seriously don't understand spam, isn't it a waste of effort to create a throw away email address, break a captcha and register on a forum just to post a few posts that will get deleted within hours with links no sane person would even click? I know they have bots so the effort is minimal but...

I did update my client, I just added the node. I'll just wait a bit my master node is starting to see more masternodes, it originally only saw 4 now it sees 7, maybe the network needs to catch up.
