Trust me, I know what you're saying, but they said it was dash. Not dash coin. Dashcoin is worth 4 US cents. Dash is worth 294 canadian dollars.

Ok, it's not that for sure. It's Dash, not dashcoin. I sent money off to a receiving address Dash wallet assigned to me, I went to the exchange, assigned it correctly, paid quite a bit (in relation to today's price), and my dash wallet never got it. And this happens to be my first transaction...

Theoretically, what would happen if the address was designated to 'Dashcoin' and not Dash? I've never seen or heard about Dashcoin. Would that money be totally lost in cyberspace and I get zero refund for a mistake?

Correct. I just bought another coin through a different exchange (Canadian Bitcoins), and it went through. So looks like I have to wait for mine from ezbct. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for responding! I'm using ezbtc . So far nothing has been noted at the exchange confirming the transaction. It says : "Search results: No matched results" I emailed ezbtc.ca , they haven't gotten back to me yet. Looks like I will wait a few more days and see what happens.
