Dash-qt Wallet Wont Connect to Peers

There are a few things that could cause this--especially if the wallet was on a much older version before, which means a database migration also took place. The first things to check are the basics: 1) has the machine run out of disk space? 2) has the machine run out of RAM? (reindexing...

When I install the new .deb package, it says "downgrade." Is that just because of the way this one was named? dpkg: warning: downgrading dashmate from 0.25.16.56ce20547-1 to 0.25.16.1fa1ff2cc-1

Ah, I was only wrapping the sub-commands/arguments in the " and didn't realize the whole thing needs to be wrapped. dashmate core cli protx "info protxhash" failed, but dashmate core cli "protx info protxhash" works!

With dashmate core cli, does it not support any arguments or flags? I can't get it to work with more than one word commands. For example, dashmate core cli masternodelist evo. Ordashmate core cli protx info protxhashblahblahblah I've tried using " " and -- but it doesn't seem to work.

Will these releases start being signed at some point? With your keys or pastas, etc?

On testnet, Dashmate Status shows Platform Block Height as 0, even though everything seems to be running correctly. https://platform-explorer.com/blocks shows over 3000 blocks. Do I have something configured wrong or is it normal for that to report 0 blocks?

Do I still need the cron job to monitor dashd and restart in case of a crash, or does dashmate do this automatically?

I installed the .deb package and ran dashmate setup and it almost worked. Got the welcome menu, but below it has an error message that docker is not installed. Do I still need to install that manually?

Thanks! I don't have enough space for all the blocks of two full nodes, so I'll just delete the current .dashcore folder and let dashmate download+install core.

    Dashmate (discussion)

Hi @pshenmic , quick question: When installing dashmate onto an existing core installation (to add Platform), is it best to delete the previous installation entirely and let dashmate install dash core and sync the blockchain from scratch? Or is it okay to "add" dashmate to an existing...

Getting xpub adress from Dash Core Wallet

As rion said, the Dash Core wallet doesn't have an "xPub" because by default it does not use HD. To list all of the addresses, I think you'd have to use the RPC listaddressbalances with a minimum balance parameter of "0" to show them all.

    Can I help with anything?

Oh yeah, sorry I forgot that. Here's the post I linked to from Lad / nebojsa. It was part of a longer discussion. These all sound like good things to do, but would require coordination.

@kot Did you have a chance to read this post today from a long-time Dasher who just returned after a two-year break? He's got some pretty good ideas. https://discord.com/channels/484546513507188745/496635238995197952/1143852896472023061

You could try contacting specific people who are currently working on projects you're more interested in, and ask them to delegate some work to you.
